Man City striker Fowler rejoins Liverpool
Robbie Fowler has re-joined Liverpool on a free transfer until the end of the season from Manchester City.
The 30-year-old former England striker scored 120 goals in 210 league appearances in nine years at his hometown club before joining Leeds for £11million in November 2001.
He moved to City for £6million in January 2003 but has not started a Premiership game so far this season under Stuart Pearce after missing the start of it with a back injury.
And, despite scoring a hat-trick in the FA Cup win over Scunthorpe and once as Manchester United were beaten 3-1 two weeks ago, City have decided to offload their best-paid player, who was on £35,000 a week at Eastlands.
When on form, Fowler provides the kind of goalscoring instincts which Reds boss Rafael Benitez possibly lacks right now with Peter Crouch, Fernando Morientes and Djibril Cisse his first-choice strikers.

對利記係好事, 借半季黎用唔洗比轉會費,如果岩洗又有優先權買番佢...我覺得有科拿好過有一個唔識射門既前鋒施斯, 睇佢踢波真係火都黎埋. 場場雪施施做後備，打大波先出佢做正選，其餘二個賓帥自已買番黎個二個前鋒就場場打正選，對萬聯個場又咪唔入波。
