Tottenham Hotspur striker Mido has issued an ultimatum to his club - play me
or lose me to another club.
The Egypt international has become disillusioned with his lack of playing
time for Spurs and has dropped to fourth-choice striker, behind Robbie
Keane, Dimitar Berbatov and Jermain Defoe.
"I will filter-004 my situation with [Spurs manager] Martin Jol at the end of
the season," Mido said. "I will consider offers if I don't play regularly
with Tottenham"
Mido nearly left White Hart Lane during the January transfer window, only
for last minute reassurances from Jol to persuade him to stay. But those
reassurances do not appear to have materialised, and Mido has admitted he is
considering offers from the Premiership, La Liga and the Eredivisie in
Holland.
"I have a very good offer from Manchester City," he added. "Celta Vigo also
want me and the PSV coach Ronald Koeman phoned me recently and revealed that
he is interested in signing me." berbatov is the first choice, so who is the second choice? at this moment, Robbie Keane seems have more chances to play than Defoe. Mido always on the bench and he is quite "fat" now ........ no matter what .. he is number 4 yes. Especially Berbatov is on fire ....... mido 又唔好咁講
