as i know Alfonso has no Euro Passport...and his situation is different with Andersen...since Andersen is still young, like 19, Man Utd can use he is young promising player as a reason to appeal his application...but Alfonso is 26...it's unlikely to use the same reason to apply for his permit....
and after the experience after the capture of Liam Miller and Dejemba, Man Utd has to be more careful in signing young players from non-big 4 league~~
