The Disciplinary Committee have decided to send historical club Boavista to the second division for exercising coercion against the referee on three games during the 2003/04 season - against Benfica, Belenenses and Académica Coimbra. Boavista will also be fined €180,000.
FC Porto have been docked six points from this same campaign and will be fined €150,000 for attempted corruption, while their president, Pinto da Costa, has been suspended for a period of 2 years and will receive a €10,000 fine. The six point deduction still see them as champions for that year.
應該是怕如果降波圖聯賽會失去吸引力吧,還是比較佩服意大利的對這種事的判決

Bulgarian champions CSKA Sofia could be expelled from the competition due to financial problems,
CSKA have been denied a license to play in the Bulgarian league, and the Bulgarian FA (BFU) has now demanded that they be expelled from Europe too.
The normal procedure is that the BFU send the runner-up Levski Sofia to the CL instead, however it is reported that instead of this, the highest UEFA ranked team not already in the competition will be the replacement, and this is Milan.

If Porto don't have ECL to play, he'd leave~~:giveup::giveup: I thought he already said he signed for a big club but didn't disclose which one ? FC Porto will play in next season's Champions League despite the cloud of a bribery scandal hanging over the club.
UEFA Appeals Body last week overturned the ban for further evidence to be heard. It has now decided that Porto must be allowed to play because hearings in Portugal will not be finished by Aug. 1 when a draw is made for the Champions League third qualifying round.
Porto could yet lose the right to play in European club competition in 2009-10 season if its guilt in the bribery investigation is later proven.
