日本最大規模流行盛典 -- TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2008

TGC從2005年夏季開始舉辦,每年舉辦兩次,它以「將日本的流行服飾推向全世界」為主題，是專為女孩們打造的一大時裝盛典。在活動之中人氣十足的知名模特以其華麗的時裝表演演繹著當季最流行的服飾，還有知名歌手的現場演唱會，慈善拍賣等多彩多姿的活動內容。
上屆TGC在崎玉運動場（SAITAMA SuperArena）舉辦，來賓人數創下記錄，共計約23,600人。由於TGC是一個旨在將日本文化元素之一的『流行服飾』推向全世界而舉辦的活動，因此首次獲得了東京都和日本貿易振興機構（JETRO）的大力協助。
第六屆TGC的舉辦場地將回到東京女孩時裝展演的發祥地——國立代代木競技場第一體育館。在本次展演舞台中，我們將引導到場的女孩「在聚集了女性時尚的TGC之中尋找自己的特色！」，並將本次活動的主題設定為「COLORFUL DEPARTURES」。
第六屆東京女孩時裝展演仍將為女孩們奉獻一場以時裝為主，同時結合音樂、燈光、影像等元素在內的視覺盛宴，是專為女孩們打造的最大規模流行盛典，敬請期待。
