[/color]Windows 7 在過去一年已售出超過2億份版權，下一代 Windows 8 的銷情會是如何？有人在荷蘭微軟博客中，找到線索，得知2年後便會有 Windows 8。有消息指，[color=red]Windows 8 將會加入類似蘋果早前公佈的 Mac App Store 功能[/color]，也會進一步加快啟動速度，以及硬件優化功能。由於 Windows 7 反應太好，微軟 CEO Steve Ballmer 曾在公開場合表示，Windows 8 會是最大的賭注（riskiest bet），還望不會變成另一個 Windows Vista 吧。
