Your favourite national football/soccer team
Germany's still my favourite team although it never recovers since 1998 (98 World Cup's a nightmare to many teams indeed). Perhaps the younger fans don't know, the German use their brain instead of feet to play football (soccer in USA). 54 World Cup was one of the best example -- the coach used the substitute players in 1st round game when playing against the Hungarian (the best in 1954); while the in the final game, the coach called the original players to beat the Hungarian for winning the Cup!:lol::lol: Furthermore, the German used to have excellent forward such as Klinsmann & Bierhoff.:lol::lol: By the way, perhaps they're also one of the most discipline and organized football/soccer teams!!!:lol::lol:More pix

Brazil^^ i've been supporting Italy since 90 world cup, i love their colour at first..........................they play good tactics, 'on the ground' soccer, that's much better to watch than the ball flying in the sky all the time....
i was really upset when they lost to France in Euro2000....
and then heart broken when they lost to Korea.................................
and then fu.ked up when they didn't qualify for second round in Euro04.................
thx for Mr. Trap.....................
anyway, i'll support Italy for the rest of my life mo matter how they play.............. I like German as well for the exact same reason as rider's. Germans use good strategy in their games and they know how to maximize the output from their players. 阿根廷!
直到我死個日我都一樣鍾意! I love Sweden nowadays.... cos this team .. it is a balacing team... .. right?! italy & spain
i start loving italy when baggio was still playing (94 world cup )
he is my first football idol.........
ang i love spain too~ the major factor is Raul and RM ........

The German football/soccer do reflect the characters of the German nation: high-discipline, highly-organized, practical, high-efficiency, strong commitment, systematic, good strategy... Perhaps we should learn from them!
Unfortunately, the German keep disapponiting the fans recently, especially the goalkeepers: both Kahn & Lehmann:mad::mad::mad:. Fortunately, there's a new star in the team -- Kuranyi:)! 本人仍雲佬支持者,所了投了,,,,,,,,,,
Originally posted by rider at 2005-3-21 08:50 PM:

Yes, that's Dutch football/soccer. It's introduced by Dutch greatest star, Cruyff. (But it's was beaten by Beckenbauer's "libero" tactic (defence also acts as midfield if necessary) of W. Germany in 1974 World Cup) look! it's funny, no one is choosing France... do you think it's strange?!
Originally posted by brightlee at 2005-3-22 11:31 AM:

I've have the same feeling too though I don't like the French, esp. after 1998 World Cup! What's wrong? Perhaps it's because Zidane quit the national team!?
Originally posted by tai1980 at 2005-3-21 01:20 PM:

I used to like Brazil too since the Brazilian do play really beautiful football/soccer evern though their's fantasy instead of practical sometimes. However, I'm disapponited to the team in 1998 World Cup. Furthermore, I really don't the players, esp. 3R & Carlos -- they're movie stars instead of professional athletes (though they do play very good). It seems that there's no one like the French! Anyway, I'm glad that the German have a couple of fans (at the beginning, I did wonder the poll'd go to Brazil, England or Italy). As I mentioned before, I like the German since they're tough strategist. In the past, the German coaches're even excellent calculators (走線專家) for avoiding the most dangerous opponents until the final match!:P
I'm sorry to keep sharing since the next German friendly match's coming (26/3). I'm too excited! 丹麥.......
被他們優雅流暢的踢法吸引,球員的平均技術和默契都很好
