Francis Suspended for Three Games
NEW YORK, March 21 – Orlando’s Steve Francis has been suspended for three games without pay for kicking a photographer, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations. The incident occurred with 8:57 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Magic’s 98-90 loss to Seattle at Key Arena.Francis, who served the first game of his suspension on Saturday at Portland, will miss Orlando’s next two games: tonight at Charlotte and on Thursday at home vs. the Bobcats.
So lucky for Steve Franics!!! only 3 games ??
so lucky for him Indeed. Dennis Rodman did something similar back in 1997 and he was suspended for 11 games. Sometimes, you have to wonder whether a one-man committee is good enough to make that kind of judgement for the league. well... I thought Steve will be suspended until the end of the season
Ron Artest got about 11 matches suspension due to that before..
em.. I feel it's really unfair in this case
Originally posted by brightlee at 2005-3-22 10:05 AM:

u know...
Artest was beating an audience.. which is NBA BUSINESS'S CUS---ER........
this time Fransis kicked a photographer which is nobody in that business...
that's y....
poor Artest.... used to built a fair image of NBA...... yes.. poor Ron...
so next player can be kicking another video camera man without showing on TV.... Rodman did the exact same thing and he was suspended for 11 games. I think it's more because Rodman (and Artest, to that matter) was well known as a rebellious player while Francis is a star player. Stern always give star players preferential judgement. yes, bad on him...
by the way,... welcome catbert... haha.. nice to meet u in here!!!
Originally posted by brightlee at 2005-3-22 05:31 PM:
