艾華速度快，進攻意息超強，但絕非左翼人才，因他的技術實在太粗糙，在左翼位置上效果最多達到懷斯級，甚至肯定比懷斯弱。

若果以史密夫為標準，卡域克肯定很強，很適合防守中場，但若以戴維斯為準，卡域克還差得遠，始終末看到卡域克真正一夫當關的防守表現。
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Michael Carrick.
The fiery Scot has also ruled out the possibility of Carrick's Spurs team-mate Jermaine Defoe coming in to fill the gap left by Ruud van Nistelrooy's departure to Real Madrid, with youngster Giuseppe Rossi instead expected to take up the fourth striker's position.
There has been speculation surrounding The Red Devils all summer, and they are still yet to bring anyone in, but England international Carrick's arrival now appears imminent.
"There has not been any interest from us [in Defoe]," Ferguson told MUTV.
"As far as the Tottenham situation is concerned, we made a move for Michael Carrick - but that is all we did.
"He is the only Tottenham player we are interested in at the moment and I think it will stay that way."
United had been expected to bring in another front man, but have now turned to Rossi after his impressive form in the reserves and pre-season.
He had been expected to go out on loan to find first team football, but Ferguson has now revealed he will most likely keep the forward.
"We want to see Giuseppe progress as a centre forward and it is looking more likely he will stay with us now," he added.
"We have targeted several players but in my experience, these things take time.
"We are not going to be stupid and just pay the price other clubs want.
"You have to negotiate and sometimes, you have to be patient and wait for the moment when eventually, the two clubs agree."
Milan hard-man Gennaro Gattuso was another player tipped to make a move to the North West, but Ferguson has now conceded defeat on the World Cup winner after the Italians escaped severe punishment for their involvement in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
"We were waiting to see what was going to happen with AC Milan," said the Scot.
"But they are still in the European Cup and Serie A, so there is very little chance of progressing that one."
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out making any move for Jermain Defoe to fill the void left by Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The departure of Van Nistelrooy for Real Madrid has led to intense speculation about who should replace him.
Ferguson has also signalled his intention to push Alan Smith back into a striker's role following the Yorkshireman's one-year experiment in central midfield but it was still anticipated United would bring in an extra forward to provide competition for Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha.
Yet, in confirming an ongoing interest in Michael Carrick, Ferguson rejected the idea he could try to poach two Tottenham players this summer.

On the Red Devils' recent South Africa tour, Ferguson admitted he wanted to let Rossi leave Old Trafford on loan for six months in an effort to further his footballing education.
The teenager immediately claimed he wanted to stay at United and try to force his way into the first-team on a regular basis.
Now, it appears he will get his wish.
'We want to see Giuseppe progress as a centre-forward and it is looking more likely he will stay with us now.'
While many United fans will be alarmed by Ferguson's decision, believing it weakens the club's chances of catching Chelsea this term, at least they will be appeased by the long-serving manager's pursuit of a key central midfielder.
Although it was widely reported a deal with Carrick had been done, neither Tottenham nor United were willing to confirm the speculation.
Instead, Ferguson thinks the Old Trafford faithful may have to be patient in their wait for new arrivals.

Apart from Defoe, one man who will definitely not be arriving at Old Trafford is AC Milan's Gennaro Gattuso.
Ferguson was ready to make a move for the former Rangers star if Milan had suffered a similar penalty to Juventus in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
However, by being allowed to remain in Serie A and, unless UEFA decide otherwise, maintaining a place in this season's Champions League qualifiers, Milan's bargaining position leaves Ferguson acknowledging any bid for Gattuso would be useless.
'We were waiting to see what was going to happen with AC Milan,' said the Scot.

The Manchester United striker travelled to undergo a medical, which he has now passed, although the Old Trafford outfit claim the clubs are yet to agree a transfer fee.
Real now state van Nistelrooy has made the switch to La Liga, enabling him to join the likes of Ronaldo and Raul at El Bernabeu, with the player to be unveiled on Friday evening.
The Dutchman joins the likes of ex-Juventus pair Fabio Cannavaro and Emerson in joining the Spanish giants during the close season.
Van Nistelrooy told the club's official website after passing a medical: "It's fantastic to be here. I am moved at being presented today.
"I'm very happy to arrive at one of the world's biggest clubs where I want to score many goals.
"When Real Madrid come knocking you do not to think about anything else as you know that they are number one."
Real's doctor Alfonso del Corral added on the club's site: "We consider him to be in perfect condition to sign for Real Madrid so we have given him the okay."
