After clinching an agreement for Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves, United are now stepping up negotiations for Portugal international Nani.
Cristiano Ronaldo has [u][b]recommended[/b][/u] Nani to United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who has also sought the opinion of assistant manager Carlos Queiroz and brother and chief scout Martin.

but Sporting Lisbon has a connection with Man Utd...maybe Man Utd can bargain a good price...
