LIVERPOOL have made an £8million bid for Deportivo La Coruna's Spanish international striker Albert Luque.
Champions League-winning boss Rafael Benitez has targeted the powerful striker to beef up his strike-force with Milan Baros certain to leave the club this summer.
Deportivo turned down a cash-plus-player bid from Liverpool earlier this season when Benitez offered to throw defender Josemi and midfielder Antonio Nunez into the deal.

Luque,is contracted to Depor until 2010. Benitez, however, knows the Spanish outfit are in severe financial trouble.
President Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is desperate for someone to bail the club out and, as a result, Luque will definitely go to the highest bidder.
