無線上網一問

請問是否在Notebook 插上 "無線54M USB 接收卡", 在有"無線上網"設備之商埸任何位置, run Internet Explorer, 便可上網?  是否還要run其他program?

u dun need to run any program, but for sure u need to have a the access to the ---less internet, like password
but there're some people didn't set the password, u could try to access internet thought them

u need assess point. something provide ip link for your pc. or you can just this adapter to create a local lan with another pc has ---less link adapter.

dont buy usb adaptor, use a pcmcia card if you have a laptop la. USB adaptors are very easy to snap if you move your laptop around.

We call that a W i r e less NIC, just go into any computer shop and ask la. costs around hk$200.
