Jasikevicius should help the Pacers offset the loss of Reggie Miller, who retired after last season. Indiana, knocked out of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals in six games by Detroit, also will get Ron Artest back from suspension next season and will be among the favorites to win it all.

he is a really good PG, well at least from what i seen in Athens game, and this is a really good pickup that Pacers need, and with Ron Artest back in the game, Pacers really have change to take the east title

呢個立陶宛後衛真係有對呀！雖然Tinsley 上年打得幾好，不過成日有傷，始終佢既打法真係好易傷，近兩年平均都係打得40-50場。真係要搵返個替補返黎。
[color=Red]呢幾日有消息話 pistons 用 Darko Milicic 換 hawks 的 Al Harrington。交易傳聞多是得個”傳”字，但是我覺得這個傳聞成真的機會仍是很大呢～原因有幾個。第一，pistons 不愛用 Darko Milicic，在 Larry Brown 執教下，不會給新人機會上場；第二，hawks 的 swingman 有太多了，現在 hawks 的 swingman 太多，有 Josh Smith, Childress, Diaw-Rifford, Donta Smith，什至剛抽回來的 Marvin Williams 都可能以 SF 上陣；第三，hawks 正不斷加強內線實力，因為 hawks 禁區沒有人材可選，所以他們一直追尋一個有返咁上下料既 PF/C；第四，hawks 這類重建球隊，應會積極招攬”後生仔”入隊吧～
Darko Milicic 是 03 年第二順位怶 pistons 抽中。當年他在行內被寄予厚望，什至被譽為 Divac 的接班人呢～ Divac 在 Serb. and Mont 的崇高地位是相當有名的，可見 Darko Milicic 是個幾咁有潛質既球員！！！可惜 pistons 在 Larry Brown 執教下，以球員即戰力行先，而且很少給後備球員上陣，所以 Darko Milicic 來到 NBA 後一直沒有發揮的機會。到幾個月前，什至傳出 Darko Milicic 不想再為 pistons 效力呢～

先講明我係oneal fans...所以only講熱火...
我覺得熱火陣容真係勁左好多...
中鋒位冇變啦...永遠都係噤勁...oneal+zo...仲有doleac and zhizhi
大前鋒位令進攻多左個choice...因為walker..勁野...
不過就嫌lee個位d人太short啦...因為walker 同後備haslem都係得6"8,9度...列拿就老啦...
小前鋒位的posey有一定能力, and如果新秀simmens打得好...應該都得gei...
不過eddie jones的離隊,令heat少左個3分的殺手....不搶分時...可能
SG位就係問題所在...不過連埋pg一齊講丫...
wade係明日之星...而williams also好勁...
後備的damon jones 同 dooling (暫時未轉會) 得分能力都好強..
而d jones同williams更有3分遠射...本身望就好強...
但係4位人兄的高度都唔過6"4.....
如果面對高的SG..如kobe, mcgrady等...噤就變左對方的強攻點啦...
加上如果d jones同dooling真係走...噤隊內真係射得3分gei得williams一個...
真係好唔著數lor...
其他冇題gei..真係唔係老就弱..

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- The New Jersey Nets' trade with the Portland Trail Blazers for Shareef Abdur-Rahim has been put on
hold after the veteran forward failed to pass a physical.
The Nets did not disclose the nature or cause of the problem, but said the injury in question was one that neither the team nor
Abdur-Rahim was aware of. The examination was performed by Dr. Michael Kelly, the Nets' orthopedist.
``It was a shock,'' Nets President Rod Thorn said Thursday. ``We had scheduled a press conference. We did not think there was going
to be anything wrong whatsoever.''
The 29-year-old Abdur-Rahim missed 22 games with the Blazers last season after undergoing surgery in mid-January to address loose
particles in his right elbow.
New Jersey agreed to a six-year deal with the veteran forward, who has averaged 19.8 points and 8.1 rebounds during his nine-year
career with Vancouver, Atlanta and Portland.
Thorn said the team was looking at other options in case the deal doesn't go through. In order to make a deal with another team
using their trade exception, the Nets would have until next Tuesday when the exception expires.
``You have to have somebody to deal with, and it took a long time to make a deal with Portland,'' Thorn said. ``In this case the
time frame would be much shorter.''
Under NBA rules, the Nets have 10 days to complete the trade for Abdur-Rahim from the day it was announced, which would give them
until Aug. 12.
Guard Jeff McInnis and forward Cliff Robinson, two other players the Nets reached agreements with recently, both passed physicals,
Thorn said. Robinson signed a contract and the McInnis will sign once details are worked out, he said.

我認為佢o既內線唔係唔勁~不過小左d霸氣............brad miller係幾好,不過係白人,無論o係體能同封波等等方面都比黑人cheap d~而大前個kenny thomas又太矮~好似得6'7or6'8........peja都高過佢........所以我think佢一定要收個內線球員~nene係唔錯o既選擇~如果nene黎左,miller可以打大前~thomas做後備~仲有skinner同williamson~咁就唔錯啦~
而且我認為佢地o既小前後備需要加強~上季有evans同kevin martin~我認為唔夠......加上今季evans可能走........咁就剩番martin......所以佢一定要收過後備,如果peja場場打足40mins,身為射手o既佢好難keep住d手感.....我認為木狼o既szcerbiak,巫師o既hayes or老鷹o既harrington都係唔錯o既選擇~
而o係後衛方面,雖然簽左hart~但係個人認為wells都係做第6人o既角色好~因為佢係果種會搶波打,但係後備爆發力強o既球員~但係我又諗唔到佢應該收邊個喎......
then控球~bibby唔駛講~上季o既house唔錯~不過可能走.........所以都係收過後備好d
而新秀o既garcia係一個唔錯o既球員~係ncaa4強球隊路易斯維爾大學o既主將~實力有番咁上下~
