賓尼迪斯仍對利物浦作客車路士一役拉爾拿被逐耿耿於懷。

洛賓被拉爾拿推倒地上，狀甚痛苦，最終球証向拉爾拿出示紅牌。

他認為球証應嚴懲插水及粗野攔截。

「若球証能出示更多黃牌懲罰那些犯規的球員，那會是一陣好事情。」

「球員需要受到保護，尤其是今年舉行世界杯決賽週。」

利物浦是英超其中一支紅黃牌數目較少的球隊，賓尼迪斯表示他會要求球員公平作賽。
