Real Madrid to offer Baptista for Arsenal's ColeReal Madrid are putting together an offer for Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole.
The bid is set to be tabled at the end of the season and will comprise of a cash component plus striker Julio Baptista.
Brazil international Baptista almost joined the Gunners in the summer, only to accept a move to Real. But he is understood to be disappointed with his midfield role under coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants Baptista to lead his attack and knows he is facing a losing battle to hang onto Cole. The England left-back signed a new deal in the summer, but it reportedly has a clause allowing him to move to Real should they come knocking.
