dun be silly:D that's because he just married his ex-wife, KIM again, and now he is trying to spend more time with his family, as 106127 said....
but what he meant by retiring is that he wont be making any albums for himself anymore, but he will still continue on making beats and songs for other artists....just like dr. dre.
i'm sure that he will still be around with songs in different artists' albums, such as d-12, dr. dre, g-unit, obie trice, and many more.
