Baron Davis going back to home state as Warrior

The Golden State Warriors acquired guard Baron Davis from the New Orleans Hornets on Thursday for guard Speedy Claxton and forward Dale Davis.

well, at least we know, Hornet would like to get no.1 draft pick this yr!!!

Dale Davis.. will be retired after his contract will be expiring.....

so... Horents and Hawks... are trying their best to get no.1 pcik this yr

the worst record team wont get 1st pick most of the time though .... ( which i have no idea why ...  )

Well.. cos... depends on how lucky they will be.. everything is on draft.. and gambling.. like Mark Six in HK...
so.... well, depends on how lucky they would be.

of cos, if they could get more losing game, they would get more balls in the draft pack.. to get 1st draft pick.........

yes ... its like that .. the worst team has the most ball .... but in last 10yrs .... i dont think the worst record team get a lot 1st pick ...

Michael Okal,... I forgive his name.. from Clippers is 1st pick...

by the way, from NBA rules, any new team.. who is/are joining to play in NBA, they couldn't get 1st in first 3 yrs.
that's why Tim Duncan was going to Spurs, rather than Grizzlies

he start his rookie season at 98-99 season ... so i take a look at 97-98 season standing ( i think that the one i need to check to c the standing for draft pick ... ) and LAC didnt have the worst record that year ... Denver did
my bad if i read the wrong year though
oh, of course there r team that has worst record get 1st pick ... i just mean, the chance that other team get 1st pick is bigger in last 10 yrs, instead of the worst team

stop mentioning about Vancouver....it brought back my hard feeling....hahaha just joking

it is not the draft of Tim Duncan...we got forth that year...
it is the draft of Stromile Swift / Bibby which we were forced to give up the draft right

as far as I remember:
95' we are 6th and we picked Big Country instead of Mighty Mouse (Garnett was the fifth...)
96' we are 3rd and we picked Shareef where Marbury, Ray, Kobe, Walker are all avaliable
97' we are 4th and we picked Antonio Daniels who is not even playing in NCAA Division I and there is T-Mac
98' we are 2nd and we picked M.Bibbly instead of V. Carter
99' we are 2nd again and we picked Franchise, but well...he refuse to play for us
00' we are 2nd again and we picked S. Swift...
01' we moved to Memphis ...thx Stu

see how many ALL-STAR we have missed even we can pick high...
