Hernan Crespo has insisted that he has no desire to return to Chelsea despite Jose Mourinho's suggestion that he would like to bring the striker back from Milan.
Crespo has spent the season on loan at The Rossoneri, who are in the UEFA Champions League final and are battling for the Serie A title with Juventus.
Although the Argentina international has insisted that he wants to remain in Italy on a permanent basis, Mourinho has insisted that he will bring the player back to Stamford Bridge.
However, Crespo has quickly reiterated his stance, insisting that the manager's statement will not change his mind.
"What Mourinho said changes nothing, in the sense I've already taken a decision, Crespo told Corriere dello Sport.
"I've always said that I will stay and I haven't any intention of changing my mind now.
"I'm optimistic and I hope that everything will end positively.
"I'm waiting for new talks between my agent, Milan and Chelsea."
The player's agent Fernando Hidalgo also believes that Mourinho's assertion will not affect Crespo's future.
"The negotiation isn't conducted by Mourinho and the agreements between the clubs haven't changed," said Hidalgo.
"The meeting between Milan and Chelsea is scheduled for after the Champions League final.
"On that occasion the two clubs will meet to discuss Hernan's future."
