RIOT cops had to rescue the Glazer family from a hate mob at Old Trafford
last night.

Angry Manchester United fans hurled bottles and bricks at two police vans as
they whisked Glazer brothers Joe, Bryan and Avi to safety.

The trio, sons of new owner Malcolm Glazer, had been blockaded in the
stadium for more than FOUR HOURS.

They had arrived at 6.30pm for their first visit since the American’s
bitter ￡790m takeover.

More than 200 fans turned up to protest and chanted ‘Die Glazer, Die’.

They erected barriers in a bid to stop the Glazers leaving while others
staged sitdown protests.

Cops later baton-charged them and dragged fans away to clear a path for the
vans carrying the Glazers.

The club had built eight-foot high security gates before their arrival to
keep fans out.
