for the preliminary interview:. \5 i7 r' x" b0 K( @

$ \0 r! j* s1 Bthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......7 \0 r& J: f& a7 ?, j
; J/ U/ e- P* K7 ?7 C* C
for the extended interview:
+ w' v5 ?# V: y0 j/ x& {6 U" b7 }/ j
2 C2 l% ]* T( F1 d, ~, Pit's divided into 2 sections,
' h: Y! P$ y. c9 s6 E7 T1 is impromptu talk- q5 R( y: l7 m: s
another is group discusion
% D# }% D. \& g/ o( ^1 i' h& D; X0 v0 ]" a( N9 S
all conducted in english
! [# M; M9 k, d& V. J2 m2 q& n1 h5 ^2 x3 s; w
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare/ e: A2 U; b" `# r" H

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion) {% n: K' e; s. }* d$ @$ n# D
. I0 a) K8 P/ O# L/ ?9 q6 G
( V) K6 z0 N# n8 F/ d6 o: Z( q! G
for final interview:3 ^. \2 H2 I" e+ o- Y
5 ]3 u5 p" H* o
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes' @9 C* a1 A, X' L

/ B. p2 a3 k! D/ dthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
