for the preliminary interview:

% `' M* ~# k$ \) R0 Mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....... Y! o  |3 [( U& U  o

for the extended interview:7 P' C& S3 Y9 l- P8 @  B
2 b: ?/ ?5 L( ^- d8 J. n' V
it's divided into 2 sections,
# }2 l. ?6 X6 P7 _1 is impromptu talk0 o3 m2 d; [& E) D2 j' D/ k
another is group discusion% T# U$ X/ S% P% F$ |' m9 ?

all conducted in english3 F; H/ A9 a, p( i, Q) h* i9 Q

& D' l+ C9 |! U4 R' U: Himpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare2 o4 N, U- h0 j. g. }! W

% q) J6 t, i- W2 `% n6 ?  E2 O( l  I& j
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ M: }  ?& J6 E+ S. A3 D

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
