for the preliminary interview:& J# Z- b9 H/ ~3 K3 o9 `

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......, k" B% W* w& }$ k2 S- N% [
" z& @4 O' o, F# w( w( J1 {
for the extended interview:

3 F6 o3 M6 a# n+ j/ @it's divided into 2 sections,2 Q3 J! T8 T! V, U
1 is impromptu talk% y4 m$ M* D! f0 G
another is group discusion
6 L9 K6 c7 G2 L' Q' R4 u
3 |, |1 c) _  \8 ]all conducted in english

8 b" z  K% d  F  |# Z8 Nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

. ]" u6 ]/ u+ Q5 S2 Zgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# R5 c7 o% c7 N) H. @" {7 D( j) M* t

0 m* L4 @5 M4 ^the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
