for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ X1 i4 h1 D- [$ A& x# v
: c8 N  }; F% D$ J
for the extended interview:6 W  E& M0 v0 F1 H

0 p0 {+ k3 w$ Zit's divided into 2 sections,
" [: D3 ]' `* }5 n" _1 is impromptu talk
! f  X4 p' d7 b0 P, U5 eanother is group discusion4 {. \0 p) v* [2 h( T
" q) d& C# P* Z' F4 I2 E
all conducted in english9 s8 _! ^. v& u  Z; Z; {  s( L7 a

$ y# T2 h9 U! A, r. A# [impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

" s$ c8 ~" O. }+ ?+ A% f* f; ?% D" Qtopic like "environment, biscuit....": n+ `; G# G- t9 V  q9 e$ O" I% y

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes% @# X. \4 L/ L2 S
( ~* \- Z$ d0 r6 N; W, p
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
