for the preliminary interview:

/ M  d  \+ _  v4 C! a7 }& s: p+ h( Dthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' i% r1 G. r* X6 {2 A

for the extended interview:, g8 y# M4 i( z$ ]" Q( }" O

! m. I* g& f: u( _) C/ ]1 ^it's divided into 2 sections,5 Z0 }! \. V, n  f% R+ i1 L
1 is impromptu talk; \3 I/ {, N  R
another is group discusion0 Q% H0 N) x  `3 W# b/ N" N% |

3 N% a7 m$ F5 q  |all conducted in english
$ N4 W# `4 g; O- Z0 l' p' w4 g& d, l8 r+ V: _" \- Y: R& Z
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."9 h0 c1 c+ g" `; x0 Z
# y0 Y# M! `3 K' }! p
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

+ X1 m1 Q/ {* s4 h4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

: e  a1 F$ ^8 H1 @4 X% o1 F3 ethe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!6 R+ ^  k' D. y8 `. @, E
