for the preliminary interview:, u6 z/ q5 r& }- r+ m4 x8 V6 \4 I5 s

; Z1 o. Z+ O9 ?6 D9 xthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

, c1 h% f3 h) A& D/ Z% n( w/ @it's divided into 2 sections,

, v5 Y; B; z( o4 Xanother is group discusion- N+ F2 I, L" B* O
4 ]) V+ M+ ~" \* Q* e6 q
all conducted in english2 V& {2 l8 b1 |# G6 S
1 y; K% u; t4 N( `3 b+ e
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 {) t. u9 J% H" Z

& `: N3 B+ h7 M" M  i; o1 E3 R% }9 V
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion8 x. t9 \! `, s

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
