for the preliminary interview:3 z* j5 r+ j3 T1 A5 \' Q
+ \1 t, H0 M# I) p1 W
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

0 o) R( e" u: Ofor the extended interview:! E/ s% j1 j& t0 r5 s$ D

it's divided into 2 sections,
* A% L2 r8 R; R; q& L: g1 is impromptu talk) R" D/ X- x* m
another is group discusion& e% Z% c6 I1 H% Z( P

: @3 `. ~# i3 Z' K, p3 P: Q5 Zall conducted in english
; y$ z# @; f: D' t
' Q" b$ `+ z* a: E4 H) Oimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 R+ P. J/ Q4 z6 v& H/ {+ M

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

( J" ^6 Y# y5 N. B- c! igroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

) i+ e  G- `' s4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes. M, y$ l4 \  |9 ?5 x9 v- D2 K2 g( F

* `5 `4 x! [$ N/ Y, Ythe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
