for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:0 D) ~/ K9 E- S! J. }
! d0 V3 R$ e& T+ {/ O1 [, z- h
it's divided into 2 sections,. w0 h0 q8 d/ i: T6 @$ H8 w
1 is impromptu talk* @' C5 J) r$ }! e- _
another is group discusion. X' P7 L1 M7 ?5 z$ X) U3 X

all conducted in english% n, P; g0 L! u/ V- A+ y

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."2 R- L) f* Y: U

J- K. }6 w7 Qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!- u3 F R2 Z, f
