for the preliminary interview:& [" S: T1 T/ w8 i& ?! y& r2 a

* ]/ P- d6 }. l3 P# ithere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( u, y* D7 A! Z6 d5 D, n5 C1 x

% E4 \9 y: I( ?- U8 dfor the extended interview:
" W3 a- W! Y$ p7 Q, H- G- [4 h( I; c1 s- V% ]7 z6 L# A9 t
it's divided into 2 sections,' u- i. }7 F  l+ `6 n# J
1 is impromptu talk) }# M' Q4 Z: g( D. K1 h
another is group discusion
5 V1 r0 i4 H4 a2 b. S
/ L  d, l5 e# uall conducted in english
2 `& _1 ~( A* S3 M
2 |' x! }" ?& {2 t" d$ Timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# C- t' D/ P9 _) ^9 H

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion- u* j9 f2 x( F1 v9 A: C9 f5 D* y  ~

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
