for the preliminary interview:" T a! X' }8 M* y1 ^
6 R% u* m8 C8 P- l. Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:0 s! L& F. C' C( c

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

all conducted in english

. I8 o, J _5 D0 [+ g& S" r5 \& Gimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 a1 c3 ?# V% h+ w

+ C, ~6 v9 g) B- R7 {group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!! b9 M; q+ h$ T$ h* }; A' C% A$ E
