for the preliminary interview:# f% T2 r8 E4 f) Y9 ?8 \

  O0 h9 S4 R4 N4 ethere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' P5 \& V5 O  b* d, y& x4 B

6 U5 j! U/ z  v) }- Wfor the extended interview:- e+ k3 ?' E" Q: @- v
$ R( \3 L% B$ F3 H( i8 H2 ~
it's divided into 2 sections,- V5 e+ j. V4 o) y9 N" U9 j
1 is impromptu talk
% Q6 {* P. E$ g5 C- uanother is group discusion
9 G* q/ O( T7 H7 i8 v* p3 Z7 b4 L6 u. o' v
all conducted in english! \9 s6 M) K' [' A2 J* b/ ^
6 E$ y7 @2 {7 }+ {- T+ U0 I7 K* }
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."$ k) @0 X& ^; F2 B* C$ L4 u/ R2 O

. q: i( F9 Z4 e; n) a; b' Zgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 S  P# ], p8 x% f* G6 T
& C! Y# `) k( [+ w4 ?$ _

8 Y8 P0 a1 L6 N2 ~  Kfor final interview:
* w9 M# w7 C5 |2 O1 Z+ H2 W  Z+ ?4 F: k8 j5 v& o4 v1 ], a* `3 t. l
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes- d  J/ M- H0 G* `% ^
# N. \' U3 h+ f$ g' o+ D; ^
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
