for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion$ ^# }% o' u: Z( t ^, @8 Y
s+ r3 b* ?1 o9 P& j2 e9 Eall conducted in english2 f6 M2 a# C4 \0 J, D5 S" {* X

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare. ^! X0 f- v5 G* Y
: B3 P3 Q( L, m' \3 }) r- gtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

D2 U( H$ Tgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% F2 ]8 ]0 D$ q/ J0 D
