for the preliminary interview:" j) B! i# \+ `- [/ Z- L& [7 K
0 p6 f& x) Y, h& C0 q4 b& o/ K
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,! \: M# n# l8 w' Q
1 is impromptu talk
1 W) J' K. f5 lanother is group discusion' _& f+ o/ W9 _. I8 ?# m1 `
2 L- U/ Q; {9 D3 R
all conducted in english
% p7 h  P5 n# e9 b
$ D- j( U9 Y" E. }5 V) @impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

9 q3 p' e( B( I/ Xthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ B  O* E/ x$ l7 w$ i
