for the preliminary interview:% D4 y5 Y  P9 v6 ~; `0 r  C

# W; k. _3 E$ W0 {$ Ethere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ N* T( @4 J  S' A

' e: @! a7 N% ?$ C; L1 _5 P- [, sfor the extended interview:7 P% b. M* s2 ^" O; m2 q0 Y3 @

$ Z0 u2 w- J( G* S/ Q& z' x7 ait's divided into 2 sections,) F: K7 Z+ D% [5 R
1 is impromptu talk
, }8 w! C7 L; D/ yanother is group discusion+ D& d7 y0 d' ?6 K
9 J1 E7 b, P) z& b9 k
all conducted in english5 R4 L# a9 w/ l+ D$ X9 ]

- d( Q4 Q7 B0 k8 w; j+ uimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare" k. C, n4 ~9 l; q

  S* T- s* O. z' M; s: ntopic like "environment, biscuit...."0 b+ j* j* H5 z8 Z" k
9 e4 b/ _6 `! n! Q$ H1 S. ?4 U
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion/ z8 S1 Z7 z. V' }& t
; }# C  W9 k8 D4 @
' H* }2 y- O" F  {$ r+ h% V! n$ W4 X
for final interview:
% }( j+ _3 Q+ w! i$ ?. B0 ]! T
9 G6 w* a& ^. T# A4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
