for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
) T8 |+ s+ s# y6 H7 b+ O8 C9 e+ I
it's divided into 2 sections,
# L" X' H# E! G( f1 is impromptu talk3 o% v& o+ {, a' \2 D* Y, l
another is group discusion
+ I2 }& F$ R* y1 o8 F2 C5 |1 V" D# F9 w' `, Z3 X
all conducted in english
7 k9 V8 U$ a, H8 N" ^" t3 O  ~/ \& l- \$ c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

5 I) e: @, H+ P& k5 Ygroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

# f  T5 }5 v: sthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. K) V" o6 v$ [, L
