for the preliminary interview:

L1 U, d7 p4 K( p/ xthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 }2 ]" r9 S8 f" g  ^

1 is impromptu talk

+ k; n5 f. H( y/ W* ?# I2 Eimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

3 A+ i; @0 s: m8 Egroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ o' [: U3 k2 V9 C

% g) C% s( t5 I/ C  Y% H5 }+ W% zthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
