for the preliminary interview:1 |1 |! c( B6 A1 \0 ?, l

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
! `& W! E: P, U+ P( N. l$ F( l
( J+ B( @0 y: [2 f* u& V1 X# H# Bit's divided into 2 sections,3 l  i: @8 X4 o  b5 y
1 is impromptu talk
; H3 ]4 O. W$ ^0 ganother is group discusion' U' j. r- y# e
/ W# `8 I" b) n+ r; N1 x+ k
all conducted in english7 v5 k" ]6 E; m' Y( {
9 ?* }$ H, T/ i/ O% f4 j7 W0 `
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare! z9 {, W* V, {7 \: a% S

/ u6 ~- y& B1 g' l  f: |topic like "environment, biscuit...."

4 N" k0 U# c2 }+ B1 [group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion  P- D0 e$ l0 a$ O' x! C

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

" d  l- M2 e- u3 hthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
