for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 l0 Y6 _8 Y9 h& T5 m' g

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,- X( A+ S6 m+ u2 @
1 is impromptu talk
, L" }- E1 e0 b0 F& k6 s8 Uanother is group discusion2 S. g, c5 k: S& `# l/ t

2 p* f9 r$ c+ hall conducted in english
. `+ _% x) U3 x) R  D" Q7 R& Z; Y
% Z4 @* ?) R& ?2 U# ~impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

. h9 J2 }* v4 ztopic like "environment, biscuit...."& F! T  I- g  Q/ ]# b

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes7 t! H% Z. B0 u5 F

) R+ R1 ^% j& r  f7 w  ythe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!! a  ~0 d/ h% W' x* z: S! p4 ~
