for the preliminary interview:' Z! \3 Y3 \0 E' c6 T" C4 {3 y

5 K' R. i0 y: m+ l2 V3 N6 M. R/ R- K& Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
% h9 ~2 M; H* M$ V: v4 ~/ v2 {& R9 \/ S
for the extended interview:
9 j  v9 m# g3 d+ o" l1 ?5 f, r( E/ G
it's divided into 2 sections,
6 ?7 l# M) u& X1 is impromptu talk
- t- l7 G  k* G# P" I4 Oanother is group discusion+ m/ x9 _+ Z* X& N" @5 r
0 x1 e8 d+ t- @
all conducted in english  P+ q1 y! c1 E% [- @: a7 j3 x
( c% R- ?" f* }/ o- x
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

: a% E' J' L. Z" ?' b$ A* ~/ itopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion) ~' u$ D$ u/ ]# u/ O! \

3 Q$ t/ M4 _  A1 |) f/ P  Qthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!! A# n- Q2 r; U: m* {$ P
