for the preliminary interview:
0 [! v! Q; o  p9 W2 Q! \6 H5 F  E$ ~$ Z! I9 C) r
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......, G+ Q* ~' r7 b" R* O

! V4 `3 z' [* }: l+ ofor the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
1 _) z9 |7 \) U1 \" h* p8 x( C# d1 is impromptu talk
$ u! x5 O- T* I( \" \another is group discusion( T% `9 ], R8 g+ M
6 j: M5 k0 ]3 x' u2 E
all conducted in english( n6 w8 P* D  o# a, t
% s9 ^6 p7 N* b
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' T0 Q( }* j- j. I" c4 V

9 C9 }: n) ?$ R' O9 L; j# k1 fgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion/ Y7 Q+ S3 o- k

for final interview:& b/ x# \! q  g2 {; Q/ d

* B1 E% H- f) Y- J1 {% a' G4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
