for the preliminary interview:$ u+ ?: u* U/ V0 u
% P. M% f4 p1 f. \0 h. u2 b
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......4 t+ |! @# g3 x3 B2 s& @5 p

! O- H# v0 v( ?% e8 p! ]1 }for the extended interview:
" ]7 ^, O# Q3 t" h: O
0 M0 E0 `8 o) w; sit's divided into 2 sections,- X5 r& P' k3 B+ v0 I' v$ f
1 is impromptu talk" i# m6 R( M5 |5 f
another is group discusion$ G7 L+ [, J* G( S* B5 J

" o$ P. Y/ A' F' B" mall conducted in english( H% `* z7 g# u! K  u. x' O' M: q
; M$ g" [, x3 K/ f; G$ D
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare: r# S4 O$ a- `$ `% m0 ]

. G, R- D) a& B$ Mtopic like "environment, biscuit...."0 Z0 T/ N% Q) i7 _6 G( T& j. E
3 a, n  `9 Z$ ^- f
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion6 j2 C5 \7 W! Q

for final interview:6 ]  m, V7 h/ s% _% o

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes8 u1 R8 n  E: V6 |( N

7 _% C3 f1 S: c0 kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
