for the preliminary interview:

+ K9 a7 ]2 }- {4 X: h; Q! \/ \* v6 Wthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
/ N( U% u9 r+ P9 @. ^/ q1 Z
0 d9 g" W8 f. s: P8 r/ ^3 p/ hfor the extended interview:
: O8 D$ e+ P. N4 E6 Z) ~% o" h) U9 W! G) w
it's divided into 2 sections,$ n( u# h2 u# h4 x- _. Q
1 is impromptu talk! s" A0 J) v" d
another is group discusion
, m4 M$ k5 u& K7 y7 i# V; l" _0 r) z
all conducted in english
( G7 Z; O- G' ^- C
* a! {, c! R+ I/ P) _impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

% k/ F9 q9 a/ |5 N4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
