for the preliminary interview:

% G) O' J) ]" Z$ h; Z) N5 Q! [there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:4 E  b0 F3 a7 Z' \) ^+ S

" y( J( J& g7 g0 }. D- [* Dit's divided into 2 sections,
1 n1 N4 n7 m- _" Q4 y1 is impromptu talk
! u' W' A8 X$ i( @/ ~. Yanother is group discusion( D9 Q" Z- Y3 l6 J. t9 |

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 b' \" Z1 y8 W5 }  j/ s! d/ a. ?

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

: x3 ?  T7 ~! b8 n/ ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 ~% ~% i; R2 }: }1 p; }

for final interview:

' }" E, n6 J; a4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!/ ^8 H' w/ ~1 S2 P: }' a# b
