for the preliminary interview:* W2 k% Q* W3 C. o

+ j4 r, x7 _+ h) O- [1 J$ t# nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

# x2 W% r+ a* P. Kfor the extended interview:& \" ^% h9 W9 c5 b
9 F, m. f1 q& E+ T' a; \! ^. V
it's divided into 2 sections,
$ _% W3 t0 ?/ e, [% d# E1 is impromptu talk
( R9 K( @# A) Z* danother is group discusion4 Z$ _! j4 p1 P6 A  s; E
, y0 W0 r; Y& p* T
all conducted in english
) N+ J- l$ d6 t9 U$ d7 e
! H$ r: R  |- n. m9 o+ Rimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- p- r- _, h& A' ]2 S

C. ^# F8 f) S3 K% Y4 lgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. q% ?1 O) R; e: {* Y0 a

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!* B, _8 ]1 ?, d
