for the preliminary interview:6 T. B& K. N5 [6 k. E/ ~

+ Z% z' E. |6 `& P8 X. mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

" v4 R2 R2 D" k1 ifor the extended interview:

  P* ^# N. e' @; P7 H1 U# Dit's divided into 2 sections,
; s, E. ?! ?6 Q1 is impromptu talk
; x* A! Q( M5 A1 }, ^another is group discusion
! L: v$ L" g9 J, o$ ^
& @! u4 \& Y% `7 K2 x$ S+ Mall conducted in english9 m5 v" l% b# B- q0 b! ~! B

$ r# W9 y7 H. |/ R) S1 @impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ h- r% h& V0 x! q  _! e
  b, F4 W0 v5 O; _
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
4 x6 g, z0 [& X1 }3 D3 f: S4 G2 G' x8 M" j# m
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

- P. u7 @, n" O' _1 L/ N3 s4 ]4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes# ^7 {, N2 \+ E8 K( @

* o% d1 }# K( M: Q/ b8 E8 athe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
