for the preliminary interview:
. I1 T- q: J, {4 T7 x% A) J, `" D9 u& H$ D; L% B+ B
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
! S: K9 w* g9 v3 E: `) M: a; ~( h; f% H6 z* a5 R$ n
for the extended interview:( @: U9 ^+ o; Z* m3 j& n

it's divided into 2 sections,
5 s" C7 u, ^; L, T. |/ m  n' V1 is impromptu talk, q7 b9 D- }9 k/ j4 b8 ~  X
another is group discusion, i* s' `) t$ v& q8 `$ {
1 ^) \2 e7 {' p
all conducted in english& J+ Y2 x4 a, i; x3 E# s) X% D

! N" d- V+ \; Q; G  D: simpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 T. R( f3 |; C! W, a; z1 g  H

5 \9 ?! P% }9 |# U$ y3 C1 q5 [topic like "environment, biscuit...."2 E! y3 b. j: ~0 U, O* R# g

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

; w) d3 F4 D% C0 l: A& @4 z4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes
; Y! @) `4 R4 @/ S* u- O5 f# v; w* B' B* ]5 j5 P0 A! r
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
