for the preliminary interview:( d# _$ `. r- ]3 w/ h6 B2 F1 I

O3 y/ P7 g1 c8 s( Tthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......, \* t* Y! h; _3 c1 Q$ R- d

; @# V+ o- F# @: Ifor the extended interview:7 }4 U& `/ ]8 R( ^
9 l' ^% w7 v1 V* R+ Z. K
it's divided into 2 sections,
) z/ l2 Z0 m2 X8 V1 `: S7 p- i1 is impromptu talk
# C6 b2 ~$ c" W' Vanother is group discusion
1 e- a1 ^1 e" f- j: E
' W9 C  W4 w+ g9 tall conducted in english
' H0 J3 m9 _0 r
- N7 }, ~6 n# ~' C1 G# ^  |1 `impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare" W; [" Y( t* L$ H2 V: {& w
5 L9 I3 ?7 a$ w! b3 a3 j/ Y$ j- Y
topic like "environment, biscuit...."6 ]# f* u! k9 t+ w* {
% y  c9 d- _; k3 U
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion* M1 ?2 a; K- J9 e

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

% v, j/ T- ^" d+ W7 Sthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
