for the preliminary interview:

4 W) d( C0 T" r/ R2 b9 f6 lthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
! _, A: s4 \3 W2 o1 y) z5 |1 ~% `+ C8 Z8 m% H8 |  }3 `2 o" `
for the extended interview:
2 n) H9 i* |+ [' g6 M7 H5 T2 g0 s/ u' @* m0 d) L2 f
it's divided into 2 sections,
/ ^$ W+ }9 F6 o# Q9 \; f1 is impromptu talk
& @1 R0 m8 F: yanother is group discusion
# V! p& g, {7 m1 N' h6 O" U$ i. e9 n5 i5 z6 K# @0 M
all conducted in english
: A4 b5 @& }/ g' o' O% c& T& h6 R1 X; u* F, E& H
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare/ c0 w3 g) v( K3 n

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion8 K  O' a) {& R
& t( [3 j0 A- `4 [" e

for final interview:

6 W7 }" }. W) |. H4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes/ m0 w$ V! c9 G: x- S/ Q* y: W1 G( g
