for the preliminary interview:

: M( p# {  C# F5 |. T- ethere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 v$ V* R* O- m

for the extended interview:- R3 m" i5 P( ~9 D

5 X2 ?- H6 O* C& s+ eit's divided into 2 sections,
) c+ M# d$ C2 K8 m5 X1 I1 is impromptu talk
$ _8 x7 @- J  F: A2 U& g6 Fanother is group discusion
/ l5 N- Q1 J4 B% O: `4 A" |* G# C0 p1 I) r* B) W+ F
all conducted in english
& E- R3 L/ f$ B' p/ d% F; p$ j- u8 u) [. ^: R4 D6 y9 A
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- C* {6 ^! l- n' G8 j" R* N, C

2 g1 r: S+ k; a/ Ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."/ I; S% |' A) V& _

5 l2 w3 p2 C7 v  Y" R# fgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# A( u2 w) r% m8 U$ |
