for the preliminary interview:9 e. `: F1 l7 b. I+ Z8 _
& ^8 ~' k4 p! X/ ?. u7 g# z
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:/ r0 t  |" h  h9 M! {6 b
3 r# D, Q8 E3 G8 w: l* O% E. K9 K
it's divided into 2 sections,, C# X! A7 F0 v4 f" \
1 is impromptu talk
! {% K) }( q; Kanother is group discusion
5 R2 y/ S' y" ?- B/ Y# N% B/ ~% x: d5 b! Y- Y6 I6 J
all conducted in english; _' I( f7 T& t* F2 ]  W

9 L4 S/ \( C9 ^- O+ himpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

' I8 t) F! M3 ^( ^" ztopic like "environment, biscuit...."* W* C! E, I& {4 R& c1 C" G

. u& s- q* w* B! Igroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; Y/ q/ P3 }' J$ ?

for final interview:8 r4 p  k8 \$ M, |* v! j4 ^; S3 i
! k; u6 u; R+ O& B/ [2 w5 @
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes( Y  V7 U7 N4 w. i' L+ J

& O  d: I$ G# m  mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
