for the preliminary interview:

' r* Y7 i: M+ b1 i- J. Sthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......: p+ S/ W* H. b

, l" q- P- `0 C3 _5 D- u3 a  W1 lit's divided into 2 sections,+ J. l# h$ l3 z6 S& f7 w0 s, A) J
1 is impromptu talk5 i% @8 Q/ w) t( X% K
another is group discusion

all conducted in english1 y" P8 N% N+ e% g7 a2 I

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; f0 _. w0 P- D; a3 m. E. b

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
