for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......$ J4 [! _! E# u+ {

, l1 ^& g+ y' i$ m) }: E' F. rit's divided into 2 sections,
0 ?4 I, q; [ Z! }9 h1 is impromptu talk
' Z3 X. ~' M9 _another is group discusion$ p: t6 D$ K: H% O; ~* s- D
}7 l7 a g) X( v, C$ \all conducted in english3 X! Z: k2 _( I$ m
1 i# [! Q; Y6 F/ e6 [0 i& o+ U( _impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 U7 W. `: r$ Q2 R

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
