for the preliminary interview:

$ j9 r' z4 q( h8 \3 J% {/ Zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( ?$ y% K' i' M) W

0 r. o! W( ~* @* P; wit's divided into 2 sections,2 G- n- `$ r5 Q% \
1 is impromptu talk
: f* }- X& Y0 U0 i2 K8 d- e9 H! ~+ zanother is group discusion
7 a* s: `: L1 R/ c8 V9 e% ^* E* d! \6 v
all conducted in english: t0 v2 H* N$ v5 c7 w9 K) I

, g5 Q' _: Z- C- Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare: W, {' K/ [/ F

topic like "environment, biscuit...."4 Q3 g' u$ ^) c( v6 X0 u

/ }' I3 i9 a9 A( r0 Z& _% hgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 i2 o. S1 W- Z& h  u, y1 a2 G( u/ s

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!& @# J7 G( a% J) v* K- d) p/ ^
