for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:. D4 K* Q* _2 J" R8 q' l/ O
L. J4 I* ?8 F4 O9 x+ }5 B+ uit's divided into 2 sections,* a4 I0 f; `, M1 i
1 is impromptu talk% A4 x, f. I1 v8 E1 ^9 W/ U! y
another is group discusion
/ I3 M% }4 {' Z5 ~$ D* j0 {6 h; R8 ~8 d+ N
all conducted in english

. c1 l. w6 h* V0 R+ j, g' p) S% {& Cimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare3 w4 ]% {$ J' y8 I

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
