for the preliminary interview:& l- M+ K! q2 m2 h  M& S4 w

X3 K6 F* Q2 L. ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......) T) l8 K! O; Q8 z9 {$ {

for the extended interview:

( ^# U* e5 Y+ h+ Fit's divided into 2 sections,3 n( K% P% z# Q% m9 l% U% f+ n
1 is impromptu talk( u2 ^6 x- ]3 Q( J
another is group discusion" j# f/ ]/ M2 L
! p& C% L& }/ K7 ~& m
all conducted in english" w) `5 o7 `# o# b8 n2 B: x% r
: a; m" q6 J) _1 ]% F
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion  S9 i/ Y2 ~' W( ^

  n/ E( _8 N, j/ F, T: G+ B
for final interview:

5 w8 q7 M* G* j, U# x' d4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes% G: J4 j/ C6 @* G6 P+ G0 _

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
