for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......+ M7 p' r, ?& J- E5 X
8 ?; n$ S6 l* K* k& h& Gfor the extended interview:3 q/ {& G1 ?5 B0 @* Z) ]$ G
' t6 X3 D" H1 U& Q2 z
it's divided into 2 sections,5 i9 n* r( J& c3 v' U4 v0 {" ]
1 is impromptu talk
5 S0 B$ Y9 l, \7 v5 a7 I# sanother is group discusion
6 P4 B8 C% P- k5 E# s! W
% W) M" }# O8 ?all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare( |8 @) O" H4 g5 p
% T& ^8 U' c' E: y4 xtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

% K8 c; L* @6 w( Ogroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
