for the preliminary interview:/ L" W0 N+ x" f: D
: Y3 A7 \" h& b- G0 c3 g+ h
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

9 U& J( X9 _6 j/ T; }for the extended interview:. b1 m- [+ f0 D
' \% S+ v  p% N" R/ w1 f9 j
it's divided into 2 sections,/ P; C  `+ X& }7 O3 ~0 g8 n% P
1 is impromptu talk
" L! ?# q% X( K; }3 F9 P- }another is group discusion+ z6 a8 L/ d! c1 {+ R- J
8 P! W, s% Z, n4 W7 V4 V
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

  y# }- k% E: l1 {9 O7 d) @8 x9 M) N' {4 ntopic like "environment, biscuit....", U- |$ z: m' \  o9 j, y6 z3 d

# r# }: B% ?5 Z) u4 A# s" B7 wgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
