for the preliminary interview:% ]* A2 ~. }1 |5 o% s; e

6 J6 r0 \! @! h8 l" B' l- Athere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
' v( Y: C( O/ |6 x4 n- e" g, a" I- ]# s+ |, j3 A& @- \0 Q$ O. [: |
it's divided into 2 sections,
' J9 b6 N+ a, N; [8 |1 is impromptu talk
6 q& \/ n1 x' I6 h' ianother is group discusion- H: Z# K! w  ]" v
* a( ?* _, d7 y- \5 M/ p
all conducted in english/ ^# L( u0 J- h  g0 ^4 r6 Y

; A! i! R, R+ Ximpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

6 p5 Y7 ~* K) p1 ^$ Ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."& a1 z" t6 [% u( u  |) w' Z

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion& H6 p: d( K3 ]2 ~& P5 U2 ?! _

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes. X1 T1 n, k2 p4 _; W

: y- i. D' A4 |% Q8 t2 Xthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 }* H- i' i- D# _8 C& C* G
