for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......% P4 o! J  o& U+ T- e: S  L

/ T8 w6 m3 @2 p6 v. _$ s4 Afor the extended interview:

5 [3 ?/ n5 A! Ait's divided into 2 sections,
8 ~* h0 @3 V2 x+ u% U- M* b$ G+ L1 is impromptu talk5 ]5 n9 i7 E0 m4 b+ C
another is group discusion+ o; g" R, W+ N/ }
3 l6 o, u  W" d( k+ e: f
all conducted in english9 _* c$ S9 U& V" Y" o; g) E& m. o

9 R) q. y6 ^' Z. B( h. ~2 e) R0 [+ x+ oimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 M5 ~8 n: S) ?7 e3 `$ x

  S( ~2 q' k3 Ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

, k' O7 x6 g1 \5 o2 c" n: i! K* E7 Y7 J: p, G
for final interview:
% v2 t! L8 @! V& U
3 I1 f2 E& `8 i7 J4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes2 z- {4 y" G( j- n$ c2 n

/ ]0 }8 F+ C$ t: r# m: r% K: Qthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
