for the preliminary interview:8 W0 `4 |" D4 N+ [- O

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

% q, `& z' P5 T. _8 A4 I' {for the extended interview:4 ]) P' d4 }  @* |# O5 v! H" ?
) Y/ S# [- ?, q& g0 W5 J& `
it's divided into 2 sections,
7 P  [: q5 F+ u* Z5 u% J; d* n/ X1 is impromptu talk0 H: X2 N: [+ B' z- s$ C2 u
another is group discusion
+ I0 p3 m0 s( j; C, f! _
% `2 i: S; Z' I4 Ball conducted in english

# f' c6 b' ~: a' w) t2 ^+ Iimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

6 Y$ F$ G1 W" v6 V5 v) ~3 K' ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion8 t7 _. B6 ~5 k

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!, Q  |' K2 ~" w& V7 b0 I# F& B
