for the preliminary interview:- H" z& s# i: u( ?# ?& o9 Y& Z

W5 b# W1 U' f; qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# n! ~, j9 o. F$ Z9 a+ X2 B  W; B

for the extended interview:! n' q0 }/ p/ P3 K  V

' L$ C9 Z: N* d! E0 Mit's divided into 2 sections,; d) I: ^6 a4 d, R8 J' z# G: ^
1 is impromptu talk
: T3 v1 }* i( `, uanother is group discusion) v2 G1 _& j1 P

  b2 I% |6 }5 e: h9 d0 N) I7 [- qall conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 B" u. U* G: U" w7 r/ L" e& g

1 e: k: A: y3 D; Q! ugroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

# O4 c% r  J  R$ T5 Mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
