for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,
1 g3 @. T" w- q9 h1 is impromptu talk ^5 e+ Y, e2 @4 R9 l
another is group discusion$ J9 V$ R7 l' {4 P \
1 ?4 I U6 B! L6 wall conducted in english
. ^6 F9 o9 j6 _ X& f- K/ ?1 @
) A, f9 m5 d% B* s$ y6 pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

4 e8 A) b1 S, S0 G* ~topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes7 r. P% P- z1 {; ^- ]( H
v1 j* G8 Q- C5 p' C& rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
