Joke: It's all in the punctuation:
An English professor wrote the words, "Woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and directed his students to punctuate it correctly.
The men wrote: "Woman, without her man, is nothing."
The women wrote: "Woman: Without her, man is nothing."

Explanation: The first sentence has a non-defining relative clause, so the sentence really means Woman is nothing. The second sentence uses a colon, which acts like a title. This means man is only something because of women.
