for the preliminary interview:

V$ V2 ~there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 o, f; c. @" S/ T6 g5 `7 y" a

+ }* F( f3 X' I( D! a, `6 wfor the extended interview:

( D0 }! z* Z3 h0 |- vit's divided into 2 sections,
" H. D( D4 [5 ^  `2 T1 is impromptu talk8 ^  C, B" V# U- u
another is group discusion
) u. n4 h2 h  L! Y. o; Z* M0 X1 F6 r7 S5 K
all conducted in english, d" O* \6 F4 i# f: u! T5 U
# x" C; G: F' z) l; W6 \, C, c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare2 n+ R! M: e# d3 G7 y& B( l9 U

- C% i5 S3 h7 n- D* F' btopic like "environment, biscuit...."

- ~' I. y7 C3 g$ C% Mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!0 y7 ~. q. G  o1 K& z
