for the preliminary interview:0 c$ L  h* Y# Z5 K7 U

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

/ P* ]4 i) ^6 Ffor the extended interview:5 G" n( |3 x7 F% L1 K; {$ ^) ]

it's divided into 2 sections,
5 ?$ I! C& f6 J  p8 C" r& |7 a1 is impromptu talk
  F  U, }. T7 k2 _1 vanother is group discusion2 Z$ A, N, h9 j+ ^5 `9 \
" h' w1 m. k( h+ M5 F
all conducted in english6 g- z7 B2 I% k& {: k. ^

: h& |! d1 {5 G4 ]6 o& W$ f5 ]% kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; d/ j! i  U/ b3 i6 q5 ?) r

L; H0 k" W( \4 Hgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!* i9 A7 ]2 m  k+ R5 M2 C  @# s
