How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.( z. Z& d# m% s- \. I4 W' G4 d s- S
* n5 O T7 z) d8 g$ M. g" n9 UWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.# ~8 I* g- o+ p# f( Y
% v( p8 j2 g( j* hThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
