There is a rumour that Liverpool linked with Roma's Mancini, but I doubt that it's a pure speculation only. Rafa would like to offload Kewell, villa and spurs are linked with him. Riise is useful, he can play as a LB or LM. If so, maybe Rafa still thinks that he needs a top LWs.

I am not rating Eto'o very high, yes, he has quality, but I think he can score a lot of goals is partly because of the supply from his Barca teammates. However, Liverpool's supply for him may not as good as Barca. 35M - 40M is too high for every players I think .......
