for the preliminary interview:8 X+ G. s  Y- s

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

4 i2 q0 I' }& ?, W) ]+ W- I  kfor the extended interview:/ G" s6 o6 d$ W3 L

: K5 P- K% y5 |: q* c( ~it's divided into 2 sections,
  l' V' H! u. q/ ^. J- d1 is impromptu talk
4 M8 I( d! d  F9 f' ~, oanother is group discusion
/ q& k* A9 d% y8 v( k6 c  g/ N5 Y# T) g' P# L7 d. w
all conducted in english3 c  p' @; s# P6 Z5 s

0 j. Z# \% p6 l$ Vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

& ]8 W+ e9 v1 u* q, ?# Kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# N% V+ p2 V  ^. \& Y: M) b

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
