for the preliminary interview:

1 q$ P7 l& K( [, _/ Q+ Y5 Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
j! p& ^( D9 g% Q4 L1 z2 e4 W, m/ W n1 A% G5 _" N
for the extended interview:

* R0 ^) D3 ~: T, K+ {it's divided into 2 sections,
+ D1 R" h8 L! P/ K6 ~5 Y1 is impromptu talk/ W: l) c7 `( ~2 f; J
another is group discusion/ D' n! j: E9 l; y
9 Q4 Z. N$ g2 y" jall conducted in english8 q5 x, G. `" T# V" q' \. T/ h
% E" G, R9 g- Mimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

8 n: M5 P; s5 I5 S# }; y- [topic like "environment, biscuit....". U* z, w5 K9 S
, d& y- p( ^! q8 i7 h6 Mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:, n3 u& @1 k5 n0 x' z, j
, w/ d9 C# Z& V8 z/ j% M( a% @$ O- \, U4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes( e0 m! l7 b/ G- j8 X

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
