for the preliminary interview:

/ B; E7 q: I* s9 @* d5 N: r1 qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

5 P; C& ^/ Y0 w. iit's divided into 2 sections,2 L" y. ~3 I' C+ v# I. H4 M
1 is impromptu talk0 P3 n1 J- X( r! Y
another is group discusion7 [& d2 P. H4 d5 c$ H6 T3 t
$ r/ q6 o0 y3 L' k/ _
all conducted in english1 q2 [) P1 m# k3 ]% ~; Q2 K

8 M, t4 P+ h7 l  Wimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."# X# F: T2 J5 i) u
) p; W8 G' W* i, H
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 M: J+ j; l3 A

+ R3 Y" y; b& F7 c5 u4 `2 ?4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

( }. ?' o9 b9 N9 E4 cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!/ g( o* t. e, x  c+ ~, d1 r) q
