for the preliminary interview:6 C& E% X3 x# ^/ h1 y1 b

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......  Y. i7 r, h% {6 J) b) P) U1 k
& H- E, S$ r$ r* ]. b
for the extended interview:8 A- Z- N' ~0 V! b3 R  s1 P, k

9 [1 _# `- c" S0 b9 cit's divided into 2 sections,
5 l0 l% J4 ~) c" A3 O8 L1 is impromptu talk$ [; B) H% }9 v7 Z) w
another is group discusion

7 |. I; B1 C1 Q4 Lall conducted in english

7 e  J$ r! ?4 ?7 b$ |impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion* M( h& T& r2 l' J6 u  j- Q% R9 G
% y7 F1 Z7 r& }& d; g% }

! Z' C3 p# ], I4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 N- r: e( D1 P
