for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......; M) X' e  l! R9 b

5 ~9 M8 E. ^+ L$ O3 s, kit's divided into 2 sections," T+ I7 j- H0 b5 G
1 is impromptu talk
( Q$ X2 `. Y2 w: Manother is group discusion! a0 M: l3 ]: e5 W

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 }, O6 e: p+ y, m# \) q/ z% h+ I

topic like "environment, biscuit...."* P$ K) @- }  F3 ?* O! e; V

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 b2 d+ c3 h0 V6 s' Q& U1 u

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

0 r. O9 O& f  E+ c" Ythe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 a! X- E" ?, _
