for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
; x5 u' O1 E8 b9 w' x% L" _5 |1 _5 [, _: {- @& m  H6 z
for the extended interview:
9 S4 n! _+ D# l+ f  ?- O, S
' j0 ]. x! ~$ `/ x# tit's divided into 2 sections,' ]9 u( B4 r0 ~: e) ~- G1 W
1 is impromptu talk
. ]) m1 b. O! v3 {& Z( [3 s+ L! R2 w$ janother is group discusion
  y& c6 V3 v! q- w. @" m; ~, i% [1 m( P; O) ^* C2 G/ l
all conducted in english8 C% l% r  p7 F+ A  y

" I0 L6 C! \. X; g3 D; Timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

: C) m( J) y% stopic like "environment, biscuit...."! N# [% ?7 U3 p& B

! o9 `8 Q: A2 e2 d& V. `; Q2 T8 wgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes$ ^- K7 A2 C  M, {) N) m! e* V& b

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!9 @: P& ?* M* x
