for the preliminary interview:5 U$ d8 Q# _5 G( h' ~5 V0 Q; h

* C* q+ u9 k) tthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 J! }  ]' J( E! e- O
- {* p' `" d3 _1 o
for the extended interview:
8 z9 @+ m0 j: J$ G# O! n4 x. [2 U0 f1 S' y
it's divided into 2 sections,
+ I- x/ p( o" V9 W, E7 S) Z1 is impromptu talk3 }' r0 n& q# K4 n1 \7 z
another is group discusion& l) c' F: w4 W8 B5 S
% g# C! q' y# A5 }* Z2 L: w
all conducted in english+ G' z. K& G4 ~' K
; d& Z. a" r& m$ K# Z7 R1 F/ ]
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

: D) F' Y1 A( }* c0 c- J) ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# \6 _, ?0 n$ e# R* S

1 p& m# ~# p3 G4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
