for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ O: }) V: n7 p. r

for the extended interview:) A6 E8 j, }, G: o! K
( U! T5 u8 d$ w" _1 O  ^2 u) i
it's divided into 2 sections,* {, D# g& S% N; n) g& d9 b6 ~
1 is impromptu talk
- I) i4 ~% _& O7 g0 ~! L& [: R6 Nanother is group discusion0 Y9 f5 a/ E' t  L+ `% X2 t" C
4 i1 ]$ i0 ^8 A* G
all conducted in english

$ b1 P$ T. p. O. M7 Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# J2 s5 e2 _1 R  I$ z0 e& s

" `& \7 K9 E: w6 ^" H( xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

* ^9 N# u6 X' b! c; Wthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
