for the preliminary interview:# w0 w( x& b$ |0 T

$ `, ~$ w. q; y# K# wthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 W% J& v  D. ~& W
# c: k0 B* ]) A8 v. P. W5 R
for the extended interview:
+ C! W# k7 W/ k" {7 M$ o, e3 f8 ]/ U
it's divided into 2 sections,, l; n" U! b9 B9 [, ^8 T
1 is impromptu talk: c. W/ [9 ^7 x; f
another is group discusion
* }5 C. f1 _+ ]) z  t  x* p
, W4 l4 o$ o, ^% dall conducted in english6 U4 e0 }* L  v  c" \

- L. D% t! T7 K* O4 P6 ?. O% Dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
; U7 z& k: g  R* D% a  E3 F  K& n4 b+ P- q- y
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
( ^7 y4 b; [- \; x' ~; }5 A4 B4 v+ `6 c/ z/ F
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 k8 j* ?( v7 ]* Mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!! i' w7 Y' h! D+ [0 z" c
