there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
% M% `$ C* v5 n- U3 ]1 is impromptu talk) C# \' a4 \0 v- X6 C
another is group discusion" X, {# c+ G% ?* [7 m1 }
! O4 n( f6 w# D; x+ X0 G& Kall conducted in english8 j& W, q+ \& f8 ^
1 `$ V. Q5 x) Eimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 ^' }- z$ [2 W
' s8 g$ F0 x* t- ctopic like "environment, biscuit....". y' g1 ~8 J* `; N7 y1 G2 ?( m! l9 g

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion, ^8 d8 F8 y {. o( N9 ?6 |; t m

% Z# j# m# q! r5 Z ^6 J2 Fthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
