for the preliminary interview:

7 ~5 B# n3 e: tthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( T# o6 w, i/ A7 I" M4 V2 u

) n. `+ H7 m( U3 `8 a, g% Q) M( ^* |3 T$ J4 C; G% W
it's divided into 2 sections,. Y3 B/ X& o: H3 K" u
1 is impromptu talk
; D  U8 n: V! m- X: Vanother is group discusion
7 k8 F7 H6 o& G6 n$ e' Y2 {1 B; G2 L- T4 d8 o7 u$ b0 A/ c
all conducted in english3 l9 L$ Q6 z" S+ S9 E
. H+ i2 I5 t; C  {
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion( v9 V! [1 X2 v+ }8 }, P% `) _2 B

for final interview:0 O2 o. z. Z5 n

( ?- l  e* a+ I* K" l2 X; I4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

$ U4 H- x, R6 ^4 c9 O9 d0 l" Vthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  Z4 w$ s1 z' q& ]# \) E
