for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,+ Q: X. c/ A- P6 ~
1 is impromptu talk
( L* l7 N0 E& p& `another is group discusion

all conducted in english9 N5 e* p1 a8 i# n! t
/ [: O7 _9 G' {* Y/ W6 Z7 [5 v1 timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

' n; G4 {% S4 ltopic like "environment, biscuit...."1 z% e. Q9 v! c7 q u
5 P, Z# T# u+ @, O- `0 Sgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
