for the preliminary interview:

0 t; y' p6 f6 a/ j. M& Zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,$ C& i4 T! a, U. ?& j, t
1 is impromptu talk
3 _2 R6 N/ k' L/ k$ f# h9 i3 _another is group discusion
6 x3 h& c0 M/ U: O3 s" Q0 b R W$ `1 q3 G
all conducted in english+ k; W; j& ]! v
" Q0 k5 O8 l' I; [, }# jimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."4 b+ t0 }0 T! E$ S* c
5 `; `6 P- S1 G7 ugroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion: {4 L5 b' |% _1 g Q& ^
