for the preliminary interview:

) V; }' a' r! ]4 }there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......1 A  Y/ \& Z# k& g' V+ z; a
* K* }  |1 o' s0 }: b- A) P- M, C
for the extended interview:, V8 d0 _( U! F% V" ^
, v! U4 E/ C6 J. T  e
it's divided into 2 sections,/ b6 W, B/ J$ Y! U
1 is impromptu talk/ _9 o  M2 T9 z: i
another is group discusion4 v% C' `7 ?7 h+ G! W% }
, N9 O) b7 y- y/ P
all conducted in english

4 T. F. G% G, D$ b4 D# Eimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' u6 M  C, L# w5 m
! }" q9 F( n( U8 g( L
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

) a( |* y' T* q) xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 S0 {! _. j* \+ w% }( k( Ythe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
