for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 f- |+ ?* q' `

; O6 h  V* g% J+ R8 n3 ^2 {) Mfor the extended interview:

9 e: E: z+ p9 A- c. {; `) i. t" y' Tit's divided into 2 sections,
3 K7 W% |4 P+ R. Y4 D4 ~) M1 is impromptu talk
& {7 K/ {' |& G: G( a0 @9 ^another is group discusion" i( J. M$ j- W7 a: ]2 X

* ]( x& Y! ]; u6 B4 T7 k9 ?# H1 q5 Call conducted in english
) ^1 j6 z0 e' b4 o1 B5 h
- z" k9 l) W) kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
& J6 _9 q% G/ }, N9 G$ f$ k/ }! t& q0 ^  R
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
. r+ A3 C" @# d: }0 n( M  _- \5 b6 q3 p! ^0 M  z& o
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
