for the preliminary interview:' e9 u7 d& G( i3 P1 b

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......: R" @) e9 F4 f3 h' K2 `, f
( k! L6 j9 g; Q4 [! I+ b0 n
for the extended interview:

9 a' ]$ m! `6 x% git's divided into 2 sections,
  c' ~. Q! V- [+ O1 is impromptu talk' D9 g4 \3 G9 Q. F  e& g
another is group discusion7 j- T% f1 i& t# j# F% U" ?% `1 r

+ D: l/ v7 F3 \& u" r1 ]all conducted in english
7 }6 S; m" b: U! @' N+ S: y1 U0 a' ]4 I' {- @! }# z
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion  ?: Z: ~; P/ e# l

- N4 S9 ~. b/ O0 {9 W4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes( u% k) O% a  u8 G+ g3 T

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
