for the preliminary interview:- K" o* I  x; q/ J6 f$ w( k  [5 z

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,* X- d5 |: v. z& e
1 is impromptu talk
% I& @; C( ~9 F* A: Yanother is group discusion/ W6 u) z$ l8 ~0 I9 m
7 B9 {- d( U% u1 `/ j
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."& x. _1 D5 {& w. v. @

) i  a" m* J8 F. F" y$ l' V  c* {/ T# \group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 J6 S( q. _6 Q2 _; Q' J3 {# S, gthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  n# R# h8 z" b$ B+ Y5 D& L
