for the preliminary interview:0 _+ D6 F; h/ I+ E! a: O6 v1 u% N* R

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......" L/ G/ y& z8 c% g5 b2 X8 Y! R

for the extended interview:2 Z% M' L. U6 [( u
8 H! {0 w7 V' a- U% `" W% U
it's divided into 2 sections,' O9 E+ B4 V! d# e7 u2 R/ C
1 is impromptu talk
, N' {) x+ T- l* a$ j7 L' c/ Danother is group discusion; u9 F& L" I% S8 G' }

all conducted in english- x/ `) h0 U. E9 \7 r
  E5 h) H3 x8 p% K
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' C; @& L  }6 A/ n% t

topic like "environment, biscuit...."
/ L/ T$ a  t- G/ k2 q: }9 @+ k$ I/ C# o6 Q5 s
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

3 x5 P* }, m/ r+ |2 A( A, ~the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!' V6 |' E& \# [8 n- [
