for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 @' b+ w5 f" J/ F

7 g  W' f3 r8 [1 w+ t5 H2 I% a
it's divided into 2 sections,
' F0 Z; D6 C1 X+ r1 is impromptu talk( ~2 R8 S% e7 ~; n- x% C8 I
another is group discusion
7 T0 p5 \4 v- c8 ]! ^$ g& w: q# e- _4 `. z
all conducted in english
; U2 q4 e0 x" Y6 R) C7 l8 {4 a' h4 W8 \4 R6 X9 ^
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 B, R  G0 ?2 J/ T2 \( t

- N% _( A8 T; _7 S% }3 Vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes( N$ o# u6 _9 c2 n2 ^* E  n$ M0 S

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!3 I) h: ]- e  w8 [1 L/ L
