for the preliminary interview:  b/ |9 |1 M( {

& P& v$ z9 E7 dthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 L2 b- a. C: q$ v  [
4 V2 q; S2 b8 H7 D7 }
for the extended interview:+ k" L% s: X' ]
4 D8 {; E* Y: c$ ], ]% j; @7 a5 m& u/ N
it's divided into 2 sections,
& c( |8 s: h- @6 N: J. ]5 i; o1 is impromptu talk
& M- _5 R+ h& `; xanother is group discusion' r' Y3 S, |) B1 |8 L8 c
2 c" D; ]9 ^# v& j& l
all conducted in english% q' F7 K/ ~( q& h

4 h7 }( u5 C  k& Q# \9 P7 e0 simpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 v" L9 N; g* n" Y0 ?

/ q: K! d# I& F+ q/ O8 Z8 Utopic like "environment, biscuit...."

) ~4 O0 s4 B; v0 P4 c  d9 }group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion* [# O; W3 B7 b+ |

  |# S( l! e, C! Y6 ]6 Qthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
