for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

' r6 n' t& b$ B' t1 }it's divided into 2 sections,
4 m9 I$ A: ~7 o3 k0 R, M1 is impromptu talk
0 q5 }" T$ k: S2 G, hanother is group discusion
3 r& ~) u8 b3 E) O! E; y: S2 ?9 ? F. e/ w7 p% V1 W' c8 ~
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 ]8 W# V x1 U! v2 L; q, x

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ `" p% @& _% u M) S* f) U) r# V7 ~

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
