for the preliminary interview:+ f4 F5 V8 h/ Q, \3 ]+ ~' b

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
7 u. G; D; K+ Y6 [  E5 b8 h0 _- C4 i% E$ H: R+ w
it's divided into 2 sections,
) u  w+ @4 _" t" D7 l1 is impromptu talk1 }. ~% G* z3 W8 H' T2 @
another is group discusion
* `5 r5 v+ O/ L' S9 |% Q- j$ ?6 j" @, o5 g  G
all conducted in english* q9 U% C4 _, `8 K7 V' }

5 d7 \* N) V0 vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."+ a6 f0 a" n1 g/ q

K) Kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 Z- S8 r; H1 n% j- s

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes: ?5 V  V' T8 g+ [  P9 `% Y
  q% N) g$ {2 J2 \, ^6 g0 ?* g& P5 C
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
