for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......$ g6 K5 r% ?* }, q1 _7 _3 z! O
" ?. A1 [  `8 @$ }
for the extended interview:
! v8 C& h1 B  O' {
: M' R) f, Z& T# Z. r9 d. Vit's divided into 2 sections,
. _: W& u& ^3 e5 G2 P! X1 is impromptu talk
2 Q6 u8 v8 e0 Lanother is group discusion
; y( ?' c, k7 y) C2 \  O5 m
* Z4 t, u; \: @/ u9 }all conducted in english
0 ~5 ?. h+ w& g- j2 R6 V0 j% T" B/ N( [# [- B
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# s# S+ L4 w: c( x9 L* m

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

1 T' {. c: ]+ q2 Z5 T4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes/ P1 ~! t, x1 K9 u! i7 m

$ ]  }' G: z, l5 f2 Sthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
