for the preliminary interview:

" V0 t: ?1 Q; Z' N% Tthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,

* t4 u; c9 K. k9 g! _; t4 Qimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion( d& |, C; R4 n- q% Q' E
# T" h l! N3 P& g4 M# L0 D% D

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!5 X% p/ A' a: @. _
