for the preliminary interview:7 X3 R0 M5 s# w/ j! V

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......, w7 Z. Y: F  K

for the extended interview:

$ p" I( s9 x3 B1 O' kit's divided into 2 sections,
( N2 K" g4 @0 |5 v# U; p1 is impromptu talk% E) b8 O& [! S( ]. n, U
another is group discusion

5 ?4 f( S6 Q3 {% [+ ~( r6 Fall conducted in english5 R0 n- {' o9 |$ r$ u+ l, `- [# Q

* l& B8 E6 g% x" d+ c  aimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 a; |) x6 e# M: [4 q

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

$ M' h# C( }0 r( |- rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
