for the preliminary interview:

( p8 x7 Q8 }, s0 i8 ^& ethere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 q! O* S; K1 v& |
) {6 I7 h5 O& A" O
for the extended interview:+ Y& R: G5 a/ }' u2 N- V/ M
# @; N9 ^+ K7 T% Q
it's divided into 2 sections,
- ^) o7 W- h7 m* H: n, |3 {: d1 is impromptu talk, e# i% f% ]5 P( n, v% W  }3 E( k
another is group discusion

% D  S7 r8 g# r1 o5 }; G; L+ Ball conducted in english. ~6 ]$ J) L2 O3 }7 W
) b$ b/ _, S' k" z2 a7 y
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 v/ c+ b! j9 e& w& J4 I+ D9 o+ @

0 H" _+ V" ~; ]8 ytopic like "environment, biscuit...."9 j# @5 f& y3 p- M* [7 y; a8 w& H

5 x7 G5 W' }: c' ]% e4 }; Ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

% ?4 \6 h) D' P; f/ i6 V; x4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. {- \; H: m# T' H
