for the preliminary interview:

% R% o, V6 \5 ^8 A1 Q: jthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......: p1 f3 O% ^8 W$ W) L

1 t  y* g( z, u' A) |9 }for the extended interview:

" @' R* L2 q( [4 xit's divided into 2 sections,
6 Q$ P6 U0 n  C9 X! a" c( ^  K1 is impromptu talk: w( ?7 a3 }2 X, G( D% _
another is group discusion
& x0 L$ k# S; ?3 V+ |1 ?( o7 a5 O6 F
3 N! W, N1 a* ~1 X8 [  v  r/ Y' U* Nall conducted in english
4 a( I1 X; [# `/ H* b$ ]0 u2 Z2 v* |# h
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare) N$ m, j2 ]( [+ z: Y9 m% g6 Y

topic like "environment, biscuit...."- R1 D8 A( |1 m

, k$ R, ^- x$ F* }group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion, p; {. x1 a. G4 {

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!! H: _9 D3 n, ^+ x# ~
