for the preliminary interview:

! M. E, V8 m( Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

. A$ ~9 A: C5 g/ Qfor the extended interview:& w3 e9 {/ f& A9 E( o- q
/ Q/ |* i8 F+ Q3 F
it's divided into 2 sections,
0 d- |/ \" g' @$ c1 is impromptu talk
3 P5 ^& \8 C& R# Z" Q: G% ~& Fanother is group discusion6 b$ j, A" K4 \, C
: q3 g7 ~. V/ v7 h
all conducted in english2 l% y' {$ m5 g, ?. R" H6 G0 Z
3 {( Z$ b: Y8 B8 B. j- ~, M
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

+ e) a* N8 S' r  ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."
! R% U2 N* d, t# ]' O- \1 G( K0 \' O
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion  Q7 Q0 Q; K' p8 ?: W$ p& u# R

for final interview:- e9 P  P/ y" `  ]. `

- a3 h6 w- E8 g, E. S4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes
