for the preliminary interview:6 [( K% }  `# @+ d. y, ^8 _2 f

2 W8 S  m% e2 |5 {* Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 x$ K+ M1 [3 @0 _* W# U4 N; ?for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,# Z  w4 P- g9 S% r
1 is impromptu talk
3 D9 [0 R8 F' t  xanother is group discusion
$ F3 N; u& R; T) q' k+ A8 v+ z1 {' n( K/ G0 @
all conducted in english
+ r: u: G2 E# m* F2 N* D2 F' E) C& }# r: B3 N1 d: O% q7 b0 u
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' n# |* m- u7 X

topic like "environment, biscuit...."
! E- C% b7 A' |. [5 U1 I: P% Y  W2 Y$ n, N" h9 q
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' Q' S5 G; v3 J0 t& l
