for the preliminary interview:
/ E! k2 G- ]' F  f3 }1 ]8 ~0 T0 A4 N4 C; w& {( ^: n% ^
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

! b7 Z7 l+ @! Ufor the extended interview:" X+ F  E  ?3 A2 h
% `  K8 \4 b& I. `% v
it's divided into 2 sections,
# h- X7 {! K% c* E6 C1 is impromptu talk
' Q, F" B3 t! j% {another is group discusion& M# `/ C2 D/ C

9 s5 O: l8 X& P& r  R! S! Dall conducted in english
% E" H3 T! _/ b/ S6 B
; B- P& }5 s/ W( U& V( Jimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare  b: d( p4 E, s
9 z% N- h  h! a' W/ a+ N. W- X
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 E1 p# l7 f" U$ a2 c+ G8 h, `

8 k+ P) l* a  o6 I9 U4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes/ c  {* |. |/ [) O" Q3 p

5 x' h$ Q5 A1 u; ]' s8 rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ b+ U2 Z2 W( @* c) M
