for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 }- X; W( B0 Y* I# r& j

for the extended interview:

v7 y/ G; G7 S9 U) ^. d" K5 n0 nit's divided into 2 sections,, t* l% c, R3 o* N% O
1 is impromptu talk

. k# m) Q( C" _2 B: n1 w" Y7 Tall conducted in english

- V: F+ n2 ~ d; x/ X3 P2 oimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; J% u, }* r$ W# y% V
0 F( [: D9 q5 L# `, V1 k: }5 H5 l, G8 P2 o1 `0 K
for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
