for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# S: t8 @6 q, s2 e  U$ ^# T3 E2 J

it's divided into 2 sections,
7 X/ O  s& ?9 e: E4 \1 is impromptu talk" ]. e$ U  r6 K: ^& Q
another is group discusion% P: {* m: Y0 W0 J/ d& R5 ~
) N: p7 _6 n- l
all conducted in english% X) K5 y4 C0 d# l$ p

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare( V7 m' |% r3 d1 `

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

+ x6 f2 _* Q# B8 rgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
