for the preliminary interview:, u/ g! ^) D; X5 i  h

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 H5 @) p  V& \$ Y8 h" l
8 _* g' |* M. I) s3 {$ B3 K
for the extended interview:
# V' C% t3 F6 C( P
# w/ S1 b+ S  ]it's divided into 2 sections,2 Z+ Z. L, I3 X3 n$ f. w% D; t
1 is impromptu talk
1 ?# F! W+ w5 @/ ianother is group discusion$ p7 |. L) D+ i+ V
3 s/ R: w( ~  p) n! ^/ o) [
all conducted in english9 H% d8 _5 s* z: T; r
! ^  {9 d' V' ]
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
9 N  y# E6 f0 o5 G% `) ^9 K( K& Q, T; w
topic like "environment, biscuit...."2 j1 S" A. b. A  p+ b1 D, N

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion8 C2 L7 E  ~( ]

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!5 }9 }# y3 a6 j, A5 U1 V' b
