for the preliminary interview:# X. A7 }$ B4 V

* r' ^- L" H6 u+ S! v$ a. sthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

9 o' [' a% G  ~$ _; z$ vit's divided into 2 sections,
. V; m0 h/ H7 a8 A1 is impromptu talk
0 ?) H; ]8 \+ d: Z# L5 G# xanother is group discusion7 b4 K8 _& q8 `& ^

& ?" C- k( d9 ~* {all conducted in english

/ J( g: `$ B& d% A- @impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

+ a4 ^( Z2 g: K: qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 ]  c5 U) j3 S4 x7 |; k
" s3 b" t3 d( G3 ]7 i1 e

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes$ ]# D2 r* O0 N! G

$ A8 _4 m' y/ ?6 o0 k0 d6 P+ _9 athe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
