for the preliminary interview:: O  L0 j% U" P% a

2 o1 e/ M0 M. Z7 H4 q& f+ [% vthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

* ?9 i% V! E: O' S0 ~for the extended interview:; J$ r1 h1 G3 p  M

it's divided into 2 sections,
" [" o2 K6 r- M" o1 is impromptu talk
4 G% ?7 D; a4 I. J' q$ m8 Z& v4 Wanother is group discusion
+ Z4 I9 w1 [0 E1 j7 T
: I5 r6 `" O' Uall conducted in english  S; K5 d8 N7 {9 }1 j) ?

: Q1 B9 _( V, c3 k8 O8 B" kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare, V* t0 |5 R$ _8 }

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

' B* D( M0 G5 b- X* j1 p! V  l# Bthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. [* d' c& r' u- G
