for the preliminary interview:+ B: u8 U, m& v( @! J

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
; ^* [, h6 b/ i& M  c5 A( q' N4 M+ F5 V# `2 w* z9 {* ?7 O* U
for the extended interview:
" a/ Z$ {; @' U. ?4 P3 X2 V( F) @/ B: I, `
it's divided into 2 sections,2 }! t. V4 f+ r3 K4 n. X
1 is impromptu talk
5 d. b# E$ F) g# S9 Y) g+ Z& Uanother is group discusion
$ ~4 q9 X( o% B) I- x* q$ H" Y4 ^+ A( b( D# C  |
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

: }3 X' E7 u% B# o$ b1 Vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ Q7 W/ O1 G7 ?" q8 r

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!$ \4 z! s7 J0 o* L& J' Y% O4 ?
