for the preliminary interview:
1 }! @2 J! H& E( K9 [4 K8 q, M( Y; v9 M/ `8 U
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ Y/ Z: _0 X; m0 q0 N

for the extended interview:+ {4 P1 y9 P* I$ X7 d" T; G- L
$ Z7 x5 F: t& G4 K2 M9 @
it's divided into 2 sections,
1 R: G1 o5 \) \8 w+ t1 is impromptu talk  J. ?" q* ]' y3 K
another is group discusion
1 Z3 T; t- A2 j" a) V* o& U/ b6 u% ^" N5 O2 F
all conducted in english
  ^* N8 t. [3 j, u' O/ I3 S1 J8 [  F
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."
9 }5 ^# r& g$ k# t  S$ H0 N- K' y

I* b7 u, `* f6 Z9 jgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion: y- r- v- x8 {! H

/ G; c/ _5 h  _( o  ^  }the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
