for the preliminary interview:
# N( M0 `; B) ?8 q0 j. y) t( I( C" Y. F* q* Z
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
/ A4 Y6 l9 f# B/ e# ?& x3 g! l( t. c
for the extended interview:
; l2 N4 @) B1 q) l" M7 _0 @- F9 v5 k  a. p. y1 c  W) u
it's divided into 2 sections,8 E9 |& ~& A# J: }/ Q! q
1 is impromptu talk& q. ]8 Z7 b- I3 q
another is group discusion
, ~2 g$ b( `. x. h2 J* T" d8 }1 Q6 U' B0 j
all conducted in english) _% F) U5 J, E. y* O$ G) y4 R

2 `$ b+ }. l. R5 Q' Z; ]impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare/ j% g: d' n! a# l  C" `

topic like "environment, biscuit...."1 u- A4 C  a& ^4 g: Q

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion0 v! w' U: ~* H
% }8 N3 _, i) ?7 e; S4 [+ e

2 H1 G9 y1 S0 afor final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes$ I& k  h" A! ]0 I

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ I; d( d/ R6 B0 s
