for the preliminary interview:  R) ?5 @$ [! A8 ~+ w

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 M% w; `; v3 G% y" h+ j% |5 L# Q

for the extended interview:8 V& Z- V8 E2 Q! Y/ W$ y& k
/ [/ Z+ j1 O3 x- n# O3 f
it's divided into 2 sections,
& N' d- B% e5 ~+ H2 G3 ?+ f1 is impromptu talk
; Z# c3 N; g9 L9 D6 X, `$ {another is group discusion$ W% \  f. r& ]/ b- x9 Y4 m

all conducted in english( t% H& T4 V) [" E; C4 A7 `- P

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

3 K1 S4 I* O# g& E- ^$ _+ T; Etopic like "environment, biscuit...."

9 t, w) L7 ]7 i" s( Hgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
