for the preliminary interview:3 a1 N& y4 K$ [: K/ H: ]" f. D  V

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......; U/ e+ q9 [/ s

for the extended interview:% a" K% x* @, |9 o& J
: K# v# u$ E( a! a/ q
it's divided into 2 sections,6 d; }, r  y7 ?6 \3 S
1 is impromptu talk
' H6 o# N5 M# _/ Z/ {) Canother is group discusion
2 y! i$ u6 x  o9 F$ w6 p- v( g. [& w6 y. s& [+ T
all conducted in english
* S& ]* V, D/ G* q: T$ B3 x! r7 S8 x" K4 k4 T
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."2 z1 b# {: |! c# {& L4 l5 q& {

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ v' O( v! W3 ^; G

for final interview:# W  r% d* ]# w% j! x+ W

) H& E7 p, ^/ A' w% N  b4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes6 a0 g' s7 _) r
% s7 T+ t& M4 ^( j# {: k2 b8 X
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
