for the preliminary interview:* c1 j$ s% H* \" ?9 t

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' Y4 u/ }* c8 v! w
, K7 y8 L& Q6 R. u( a
for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,& ~4 D* F9 j8 n* U
1 is impromptu talk- x9 P  l$ D$ r0 c; y6 E
another is group discusion( ?+ q6 x4 M) E/ b4 C, S
; G/ P. E2 y% v5 O* g7 k+ W
all conducted in english
; k2 V. J, M, k. B* i7 F+ J: u& H$ q" c: q6 P: d/ J( D+ r$ Z4 B
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 J8 y2 }. T: B* L! j
) J/ ~6 j9 A9 j' t. L2 ?; g
topic like "environment, biscuit...."4 r& V% @+ t# h3 [" G1 K; H

  |! a  a1 u, z; u3 J7 fgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
