for the preliminary interview:

' F' b  t! q4 B" Xthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
8 q! X2 o+ T" S6 `7 I7 |2 A' I7 |+ [2 ~/ G3 k4 p7 Q
for the extended interview:" |8 d* X8 I/ [! g
! @1 g/ R/ E- `1 f3 k0 [
it's divided into 2 sections,
0 ^* r/ b; p2 t* r1 is impromptu talk  S1 j; ^- {% Z6 v
another is group discusion
3 h0 J4 ~) s4 `  v/ t9 n
5 U) d1 Z: F3 T" c5 B, hall conducted in english9 K" W) g' F4 h

* ]) e* j  p0 h7 H: ^impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 j  W! ]- g& [) {

6 Q, R/ O7 j( y$ E" J/ v, ]5 e9 ktopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

+ k5 C- K* s; N$ I0 Athe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
