for the preliminary interview:

( _* o( Q+ Z& Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

all conducted in english% v4 P# M4 B9 ?% h% ^

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 w K2 l# Y# D* I3 s

topic like "environment, biscuit...."8 L2 v0 D/ Q# S: j3 _4 P4 z
* t, d) r# Y$ G6 |$ `group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
