for the preliminary interview:

9 n& y8 H- o' r: f+ j& `there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......& t4 B' m; u3 a! x

for the extended interview:0 N7 F: a2 _5 \) _- |0 |

it's divided into 2 sections,
/ g! E4 c5 _  x4 \" i+ e3 f# k1 is impromptu talk/ c. T6 k$ E+ x, C3 u/ \3 C
another is group discusion
' z; l4 v( [4 D$ y2 {0 d( u* A) X+ _) E4 p9 X
all conducted in english# B4 x/ P" H1 I% V6 m

9 K8 J2 H) [: F: S6 n( gimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; ?: z% d  `7 Q" I0 A

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 Y  N) h1 E$ x0 h% P. I
