for the preliminary interview:" j3 A5 l8 l) S, L/ K

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......) y3 B9 s" v& O0 f8 b

* Y8 B" j. h# K% x  t2 ?; s! |6 ~for the extended interview:0 Z0 i5 w' d! C3 L
+ u  x( L& ]0 q3 F6 g1 X% m
it's divided into 2 sections,
# w$ O9 l: s  Q# v/ J0 K1 is impromptu talk
( v' z1 M- l- V  |, b! ], hanother is group discusion" r. j* W/ V- l: e  j3 |

* u! ^+ a9 y* ^3 E$ s( vall conducted in english

6 k: v5 D& ?4 r7 B' c9 V9 l& Iimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

$ ^, o5 D8 h% d0 D" Egroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. R6 n$ S; |# x! A& F" W! F$ N

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
