for the preliminary interview:

Q1 `- O4 Z9 _2 M& E! uthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# d8 B# j6 p8 A* g& _& p* q" \

( F$ v$ R1 P6 h4 ]2 ?! R" ~for the extended interview:
) t& a- _; z# I8 O3 o$ K* l5 J8 t) @& \( G/ v
it's divided into 2 sections,
! o3 y: u" M- Q1 is impromptu talk
' W! M/ E3 m4 `& panother is group discusion
6 N3 ^! C. {' ~. g6 R5 F6 _. o- Y, x' U! w* Y
all conducted in english
, b+ E& V' ^+ z2 Y
$ T( t( X' M- Y" i' m$ ]$ d; b0 |impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 h7 L$ Z/ c; W1 H; X% `* H! _" T

topic like "environment, biscuit...."' ~# ^! P+ P* X4 T
' j: }" Z& [6 d0 N8 T1 ~
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  W0 G7 j# m/ \9 ~, k' |0 `# @
