for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
4 Q0 x4 e! w$ s0 D' ~1 W5 m+ w# ?# e `! C2 c k
it's divided into 2 sections,
% t1 k) f% p3 ?& i+ y% o1 is impromptu talk i3 N- F) y: m! F6 o
another is group discusion
4 }; U2 ^) X6 I d( h; H( F2 t) b0 }$ r
all conducted in english

4 m) J! F0 V u! N) v+ Yimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."+ r" y: i) [- Z9 B, ?' U& A
/ L8 ^5 Z( q- U. p0 |+ z3 o& Lgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
