for the preliminary interview:  Z, K" ]0 U* J' l# l- z

1 d5 f- V/ H/ v& J" s8 u" y$ N) cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 z, _& U6 J6 U6 ~( T1 x7 r
$ l& O1 G  A, p% `5 Q) X
for the extended interview:
4 T4 X" g2 E% X4 d4 m! G8 q
5 i# e2 D# u! m+ Yit's divided into 2 sections,  o8 }2 [  J; c7 O, G
1 is impromptu talk# d% @5 R( N$ N- P5 l$ D  z
another is group discusion
/ f# g( O5 E" L, L" e* |7 {4 f4 W. _3 ~4 X( U: h; H
all conducted in english
  v3 Y9 S* F6 S2 h3 w: w" C, d, ~  `5 A' E: C1 O  F3 w6 I; t
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 D& O2 u# H. {

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

9 u4 [8 u/ X' r. b6 ^9 C4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

/ K4 r( k& A# `) B+ Pthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
