for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

/ s8 ]( P/ b$ k4 P# e2 cit's divided into 2 sections,
0 d2 @* F6 A. D, f1 is impromptu talk

& ~8 O: P. F9 `all conducted in english) K; \* A# ?( U% M6 v" d0 |8 y& z

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare2 b5 V) M+ e4 v- a( |4 w
& Q+ v3 o+ [+ i1 C8 x- L- r
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
' L' U/ e2 l0 {9 I# {% L" O$ ^$ ]" ~; K
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

+ b1 V$ k/ x7 \$ p1 Tthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
