for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
( Z) S1 G- R% O" m* H: m& I8 U# Q+ ~1 E3 k- f1 h
for the extended interview:
* {( h0 T) W' l- g5 U/ F
* R, f6 E4 L5 D* Oit's divided into 2 sections,- A0 N. }0 b; T% d- U
1 is impromptu talk
4 a. }6 Q0 B: vanother is group discusion2 P$ O0 ^$ V) _# o( `" K* B9 e

9 |* ]2 }! k$ C3 i# _7 ball conducted in english

4 }7 P- t( t/ R4 R0 Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 U1 v, C% W, {7 W, E+ U" y1 i

, o  Y* E: w, E; s, \( `' R" Lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!( u( Q2 z! [; Y/ G+ t( X5 b/ S
