for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....... W; r# J; K; | B4 Y: r+ }: z

for the extended interview:

8 ^0 G+ t- _/ W6 s y! m5 z) jit's divided into 2 sections,( m6 c( j5 E6 b
1 is impromptu talk

all conducted in english

V o9 {. P( P' z$ j/ A/ bimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& I. R' U- X2 o1 N6 {

topic like "environment, biscuit...."+ y( G2 a& u G) B0 \3 @: S
6 n, |0 W8 P [! Hgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 l# q, S) V/ {) E( h

( t3 e& d2 V' M. c+ gthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
