for the preliminary interview:

' f3 \* Y, h; l) b  Cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....... _. : L1 p& |, T4 F2 K" N6 Git's divided into 2 sections,
3 w- J0 I: e) O! z' J$ n9 o1 is impromptu talk
: n5 h8 E- |& N& f7 yanother is group discusion
* k  I, z  s* R: K' _7 b6 N: K
8 G" [/ r, W8 ~" a$ Q) ]all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 d. s0 s- q0 I. q% q/ j' _, F0 w

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

+ H: [' R$ w7 Z3 `5 z: S1 z: L7 k# lgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes$ g- u* X* k# @1 ~9 H

; M) R# U( w+ |' @/ ~the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!* ^; q, x  B% ?" s4 W7 r& L
