for the preliminary interview:

2 a, P" p$ H% G; }there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,8 B; s7 z$ r  e% ?  B+ I6 ]2 k
1 is impromptu talk
; U: Q' ~; O" z9 ~7 m* d6 nanother is group discusion
( ~: o5 h5 K' ]: T) f+ s% G( g& ^4 t' ?2 Q' ]
all conducted in english
% N+ u. K; Q$ ?9 M* j- P8 |* C- a! }: `! [* _/ U: t
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

: f( w' q7 j( j) h9 ?topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion5 K5 ~* [0 O2 l+ L8 ], |' p

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

6 S& G1 r1 }8 P- u. P( Ethe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!& \* {! i" X" D( M
