for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

* F" x" R5 m/ d& ]0 p+ cfor the extended interview:& p4 V6 V, V. Y5 E" U- P

( P6 M" y; F. h& X) Tit's divided into 2 sections," t! T# \8 S( t9 L5 s
1 is impromptu talk. L. |" b  ?+ Q
another is group discusion7 I3 u- `9 M5 G7 {5 A
" K6 A1 F) _) v" n0 e
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

: E+ L, z: e7 V5 Mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:) h" n7 V. g0 y& ?1 j% g. o

3 K# c& M$ t2 J( O/ L9 W4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

0 L5 O6 j# i+ K9 C; \( e2 cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 K, U9 E8 L% g
