for the preliminary interview:

: }4 R8 W+ r$ ^there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 n4 _$ l& \! Q, r8 A8 k0 v0 r8 |0 Y

4 P; M" U# [% p9 j* B4 p) ]3 Wfor the extended interview:
$ w5 P# p) f9 D3 Q9 X4 E4 }6 D6 l% H: t, Z0 g- k
it's divided into 2 sections,* K! t2 [9 b8 Z' U+ G- L& d
1 is impromptu talk
& b$ Z7 r) T, v9 ~+ {" p4 n6 Aanother is group discusion. |2 N. a; Q/ j* J; H$ }0 d9 u

* k7 I4 p( r$ O& d6 kall conducted in english! S$ b( J6 {' e/ q3 o6 k, j

$ @: m, }- T: H% C% ?0 W) B$ s( A2 Zimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 t  M1 i7 J# s2 v0 _

topic like "environment, biscuit...."% R" ^$ S, v% c0 G/ L
, }# \  N2 Q+ Y/ |& I: z
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion( F+ R3 R6 D& Y& W

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!4 _8 P0 P4 V" x+ o
