for the preliminary interview:

4 L" @$ y( J, O" l+ rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

. D$ V( h) i1 L" R5 d% C! [: O' dfor the extended interview:- ]- X7 a* m7 P0 ?6 ~, X# K4 k

* ]' x; Y! R. h1 ~it's divided into 2 sections,/ K, a7 a/ R$ Q; m" H( B# W
1 is impromptu talk/ Q) i8 P) M, i& j( a' x; M9 ~' c
another is group discusion
1 E; w" N& j8 g  z+ f0 Z3 Z7 h3 w( v
all conducted in english/ V- n! `" a$ P2 U8 k, N% J# I
/ i4 L3 G" k, b1 q* _9 J
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ X8 B3 J7 b( d1 S; T) H

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

2 q1 R6 ^0 w" s( s- Sgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes, S8 O  w+ [( A. T: u7 d" U( l5 Y

- d6 F2 U9 g* h; ]$ L; S( U  hthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
