for the preliminary interview:

+ |$ ~: V* c- xthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
" o3 z" W7 q' S( H& g9 @, D# S6 R6 E5 K+ e3 i1 G2 a7 x
for the extended interview:
! q8 B6 t) j9 i/ ?: y; L
* T7 B5 i! x" W% Fit's divided into 2 sections,! f) u) r$ i8 C1 C8 k
1 is impromptu talk
: e: d3 Y' t, e6 N  {9 Wanother is group discusion
# z1 q8 z. r% G, I+ \& `# u% D% a, L) h' d% E
all conducted in english8 b4 W: a& k# C+ J2 Q) e

1 A6 z% `0 Y/ Z, ?! S2 Rimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."2 }3 L3 D# M  m8 ~  Y0 B/ a- C

/ O& I! }# e1 s( _group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion5 V. w6 o6 D' L. A

for final interview:

1 B* I1 J) ~; I/ O4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes7 a8 @2 N, w7 z: ^, j- I4 t& h$ \

9 _' R# P" j0 e" y+ {# ]! Xthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 [2 N/ n8 _! \3 o
