for the preliminary interview:

/ a0 B: j$ r) k. hthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# q# }! m6 A& T5 c- m! w

  F6 ^5 |6 ~  I+ s. Bfor the extended interview:
4 B, Z8 B* E; U8 `8 k. p0 F' k) y) T& I; A2 M8 s. c; w5 l) c7 v; E
it's divided into 2 sections,: ], g9 R  R5 W
1 is impromptu talk
! B/ w. t( m1 d  {another is group discusion
9 x" I2 l1 P8 Q0 v1 C- q2 L& m" ?2 s! b
all conducted in english
9 a: V. _& x- Y2 F  k7 V8 u" i+ ~
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ |! l4 R0 H  y! M  e0 `

( W2 e' ?. f0 [& X1 g  ]group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion- c3 A  t4 a+ h) P1 e

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

. t( h4 H1 D& W, Qthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
