for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 z, ~) p. S& l' }  a6 [

for the extended interview:. N* B/ a% J9 d9 @% Y

$ `9 u7 x% \7 B- Uit's divided into 2 sections,
# y5 _9 d) f+ E  R/ f0 w4 O1 is impromptu talk
' c8 n: y0 U; l/ w' P: manother is group discusion: Q3 S# x% `8 E8 I& z4 v2 \- O& Q

* V" T7 o% e8 r" D% ^2 Xall conducted in english8 C+ `& t( r0 n# ^# l: @

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare% K, O. K0 o# V+ S, s

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
