for the preliminary interview:

: W! U3 h$ o! x2 x3 H$ |. qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

( E' {9 b) d9 h6 S; R, [8 Afor the extended interview:; R7 Y9 {$ v: ]7 s/ r  _
& u; n+ d, d8 ]  Z- j: j
it's divided into 2 sections,
5 u% i# h4 v6 b2 U) V3 {) \% @1 is impromptu talk
. Y0 U6 K1 N: T* B+ Hanother is group discusion3 x* {; p$ D/ r2 t
' p( I& `* A2 Y& A
all conducted in english$ E4 e5 U, d" Y5 b* x! O
3 e* x7 _$ `1 _6 Y( R8 s& J
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 ^, Q- `1 U6 w$ F! mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!3 O- l; `$ b& B$ `8 _* _
