for the preliminary interview:

; C4 ~# g+ D$ S: R$ s. _there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......; K9 z1 G2 G( g, e9 R1 E% P# i
  O, S8 B. f# h. i& m9 c, k
for the extended interview:
0 g, u2 o2 k$ H- E) I1 v8 N% Z4 a" M: B6 i6 h) u6 z( m
it's divided into 2 sections,7 j7 W- y% {; S: R; C7 {# [
1 is impromptu talk
4 Q* |2 q/ ?3 w2 R' `1 e0 d# nanother is group discusion0 _9 l( C/ e3 m0 |  Z: w1 [% h
) I! m1 S% k! [" n7 F/ Y: z
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare8 @5 p/ e( l0 M5 v) X9 N  N

topic like "environment, biscuit...."' q( q  |, C, m. e
; Q+ b5 o) j3 l
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. H: P2 V) K& o  N4 K% ~, W7 E; U
