for the preliminary interview:2 J* z4 ?, t: K& Z, f) N+ f

1 I3 f- ^2 ~* ?9 v- L% ~2 i& ~$ Jthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:6 ^* a2 X( q" v4 R* o0 H: M9 p2 `

( W. `3 ~( o* Z1 p2 F$ e4 B& a$ Pit's divided into 2 sections,
. u9 I2 F, c  c% N6 n7 q1 is impromptu talk) O' w9 T; W5 J) G! y' {
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare* T/ F. I/ Q0 Y: W- X% _: l4 N% @

* U4 S3 x- D% k0 f2 n/ y. g  \: xtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
