for the preliminary interview:% |# W! b8 ~$ _" c6 f5 a

, v. W  G1 s3 o1 ^' @3 z4 l7 Athere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
1 \# q/ t8 d2 [9 T; v# S# i- G: ~
$ G: d5 r: a+ @+ L3 b# Y5 W: u8 ?  N3 ?it's divided into 2 sections,
- ^( S6 }& i6 i+ p& U! A1 s1 is impromptu talk/ Q3 B- d# B2 }5 `7 R* z6 C: L) U7 U
another is group discusion6 P4 ]  k$ B/ @# N2 e; h$ D

, K$ V5 ^) I* j4 g2 B& [: rall conducted in english  r5 S5 x* b; F0 {7 O, N$ t

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ Z7 h' [" Z: C1 y7 ~( V+ |

topic like "environment, biscuit...."6 ~/ I7 C/ K6 o# n

2 Y# l0 y" `( V+ [/ \( _/ ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. m: ~" }, x, q5 b

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

2 O3 G0 ?- ~" g! ]/ M. Cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
