for the preliminary interview:

& h) y; P: Y7 [( i% u* Nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 J& V) i/ a) `6 K; t! O" Z7 a3 R

it's divided into 2 sections,* l8 S; I. @. p% V9 D* v7 X2 @
1 is impromptu talk
: ^! ^1 D4 T, `another is group discusion9 ~8 M% C6 O) X, l1 Z5 y) c$ C

. Z, d( r0 e' R6 Xall conducted in english
& W, ?% |$ g/ j1 F1 j' i  b" R: t: f
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

2 V" O& \4 O% i7 a- \  w* C. Ptopic like "environment, biscuit...."( g, U5 t& V. H1 T* m

8 U4 r& s/ K9 D% |2 `" t/ e' ~" Kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes& Q7 h+ T5 p, l9 n9 Z7 S: Q* f
! \, u% }2 |0 \+ h4 J+ k( U
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
