for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:! f7 @& T8 u  W6 U
' M; `' l( m2 b: s6 [4 c
it's divided into 2 sections,# V2 v  m9 f! t: a
1 is impromptu talk
2 |" C" h. K- M0 {another is group discusion
, W9 Z  K0 Q# @! y! r2 X
/ K; W3 I8 b" Z( D+ j, V" ^6 Vall conducted in english

/ R! B% E, X# D! z3 pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 G& X% q, B' M6 z* D. \' ?

8 u6 W, N0 p( `* q0 e2 xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion/ U. the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
