for the preliminary interview: e1 u& i( y1 j$ C: d: n2 }

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:4 z% n" b& ]8 A; h9 v, S. e) W: f" k
, v1 g& i5 N. v
it's divided into 2 sections,
9 \: P) B1 w7 t- F/ u% K/ S$ \. b1 is impromptu talk
, n8 A2 f; G5 k7 z# G% ^/ J/ {another is group discusion |# k9 `3 b. q3 d$ ~, `
2 k/ ^) V" l3 b$ ?
all conducted in english

, L7 ^* {! D4 R" N- Y* Nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

) ^1 J, Q" D. t; _, u: y1 Otopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

6 f# O: e% v `) `4 B4 ithe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
