for the preliminary interview:
" Z+ A( h& _: U$ D7 o$ `9 u- g+ X6 C# N) {3 G
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( M7 P- s3 u+ l) i

, Y" [3 s7 x% C: V3 ?" X" Wfor the extended interview:) A+ ^  \. H8 S/ m6 \8 E

it's divided into 2 sections,
* \2 M) l% `: U7 L3 _1 is impromptu talk7 v  c0 b9 L9 O8 S: Z
another is group discusion% k! Q. h; k$ k5 t) v! d) P

8 @8 b( V+ q/ M) \. A' o( qall conducted in english
% E1 K. i" g: [( B4 e9 b. W' l* U$ J+ P$ F: |
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
# K& u/ n; X( i6 i$ Q8 S
5 l7 e7 q! }! K* O2 Ltopic like "environment, biscuit....") H# |" C4 W- o- L

3 z, V3 n& o  D: igroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

" B4 a6 m1 ~+ l( g  X& O3 Xthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
