for the preliminary interview:2 N! y8 _! _$ ?" l: n; e3 G

' Z8 v# _0 x" X- Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# }( ?) `# C  ]) a" l+ h9 T
+ `5 ]1 ?  j8 ?+ q
for the extended interview:
4 ~3 f- R" B& ]8 R8 I& `8 J
3 n" s  \6 }& f& e, _7 c/ k' Pit's divided into 2 sections,
( c4 `! s1 ^# F% ~- h* j1 is impromptu talk
4 C+ M$ k4 n3 Aanother is group discusion
# L8 _4 {6 r6 U
0 s9 H8 j, R" _5 R" ]all conducted in english
/ z6 z/ e7 O! T/ ^( ~/ e7 A; E5 S. E: n
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."# p* j/ J% y" l

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

( T3 L7 |; g0 w/ Wthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!# ?0 s) s; i7 x1 m. d% N5 _
