for the preliminary interview:& p- z- Y0 ^6 g1 ~
9 w; j( g9 s& M( w
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:( W  K: Q6 L( x4 J+ o
5 y/ z5 O# D. B4 }% Z. b6 ^# `
it's divided into 2 sections,& Q: J1 Z0 s, |  U' S
1 is impromptu talk1 s  C# V# X+ }) g; H2 X/ }, L
another is group discusion

7 _( P+ k* l; C" A# J. o  hall conducted in english% {+ {1 d5 P* p. P+ L: p7 q' W1 l; ]

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; ?& |& [# _4 G3 F. z

' L) l# l' Z, A# }2 x+ h6 t  e4 w1 ntopic like "environment, biscuit...."6 p; }% @$ [/ L5 B' j# N
: ?  z5 o/ W$ U
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes: Q2 d! J  Z2 I% {1 `; d" L

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
