for the preliminary interview:
! G" k' b- P8 L4 h! N! _
- D6 H( A: a" J: q4 V1 q) c6 X. Hthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

& I0 m: C2 Q7 d( f
it's divided into 2 sections,+ ?8 F' T3 h! v4 B% k' y0 a
1 is impromptu talk* ^8 c( h  n9 d3 B% i
another is group discusion* M( R+ q' {! w; P5 U) M

0 z' c- P) |, tall conducted in english1 l, m3 ^, U5 k, n* A+ u& S, [

( [, e, U* m' I2 e: z5 ximpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ I5 H8 F1 f& x2 m! R

' O8 Z+ ^' K+ n2 B8 J' U0 R; C  V. Ugroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
