for the preliminary interview:

  f6 o6 c/ Z. ^2 I# r, {% w& wthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......$ X- o; {) l1 e

( J' r" V% g. v! C3 V+ \6 sit's divided into 2 sections,; ~. }1 D9 V, \% y1 @  s2 Z
1 is impromptu talk1 B# Y0 l: O' C
another is group discusion

2 R: p, a7 h+ f  e  nall conducted in english; k" x+ r/ `+ R1 F' b
# I7 a$ y9 m& o& `7 ?9 R6 r
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# n, x& g$ c! H2 `7 j
# S) O7 v* u7 Q  d
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 w7 j3 c  h* K4 x2 ethe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 X- D$ t. ?$ ?+ N# B& q" U" u
