for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 b4 |* \. j9 j& g" m& p, n

2 m/ A& a5 G' Q" R8 o
it's divided into 2 sections,
* l& G: ^- L, C: Y* J1 is impromptu talk
: t' k; O  @% j; qanother is group discusion
" ]' ~1 L' K: k$ J+ q! F
- E! J; W/ ]1 m" t; j8 w! d) g' z9 t& Aall conducted in english

9 t  w" {8 d0 L' x) bimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 o6 z1 c5 T& a* C; w# a

0 k8 |6 B6 k1 r( ]& {: @# u' ogroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
