for the preliminary interview:5 S0 f$ y' ~& {, q( d! N/ A

( o# l1 [' u6 L! |  m- o. z  [+ qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 O6 h$ ^: n  K8 N" l; W
! o1 L0 O  W+ u* \4 Z; ]
for the extended interview:

' c( o$ E2 A# Y! [( x5 git's divided into 2 sections,
; g! d4 ~) R: C0 c* M1 is impromptu talk* Z/ ?( C4 X4 z% p3 D0 s4 F. k! I" l
another is group discusion$ ~0 d8 Y( j; v+ }

' L% d; V: Q8 I* j, Gall conducted in english
/ y4 _) x6 O  S3 @( J3 @8 r1 C
, R4 k: {4 R# v6 ]& Z, p+ G' Limpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' K! e+ a" G! ?: T

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion) Y$ c: w8 m+ |& @, H9 M$ \0 Z

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes5 ^$ T+ j, J: }; f

" x8 \% `$ g1 q+ v7 }9 |the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
