for the preliminary interview:

2 L8 p3 h! H6 D& Lthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 }! k9 e% l  T) s- D3 ]

for the extended interview:4 z7 @: z6 R6 `1 H: _- C2 F
4 e- N7 J$ X& x6 ?4 |' q& e9 ~
it's divided into 2 sections,
7 \; L  e  ^% a; k7 G! m1 is impromptu talk9 S0 X; n7 U/ Z% f
another is group discusion
) ?  B& S$ q) U: X
" B0 f$ u% H& n5 ^' fall conducted in english: V4 S$ Z7 V8 J2 |2 g9 _1 r- v

" ^7 _9 V6 D1 z/ w' yimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# Q# J; ^2 @7 C+ W) w; E+ {; o

& W4 Q+ G  d- N9 W. m2 }topic like "environment, biscuit...."( c) Q: n; _8 ^% ~" P

  u7 I& f! \' D, e& Z! K8 agroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 T# ]8 a% J( X, d) `9 @8 B  x

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. |  A( F/ w) _% s/ M( R% f
