for the preliminary interview:) H9 U2 y- Y& k8 b  h! `% m3 o. I

9 w" v) t$ V. y7 o& G& Jthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......& F: \& b; ~4 r5 B+ I

7 b. d; z* C7 d  a9 L/ Ufor the extended interview:; S9 |7 C3 G# a( }

* f9 k/ W, {. n! g& g8 [it's divided into 2 sections,
3 }  S: i/ A% M& T% h1 is impromptu talk' h5 |: g- M$ Q
another is group discusion& v7 @! q" j5 W) @1 o2 X0 y' y

- X- A* N$ q9 K/ lall conducted in english! }( g7 @! o; m  g8 @1 w3 i
( J# @2 x1 J, c% N
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

( y2 x/ h0 a4 ?: P$ ntopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion" o0 H" N4 L' y

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

5 Z( i$ d; l  S$ vthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
