for the preliminary interview:  z* ^# k2 P8 t( Q8 y8 Z4 f

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....... r9 j% N, ]$ E

it's divided into 2 sections,* ]4 K6 p9 S* o
1 is impromptu talk, B; u; S6 _' Y6 X9 E0 P5 h
another is group discusion6 z0 x& G, `& e

4 Q" f6 ^7 V! e  Call conducted in english

, m- J" ]) [/ mimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& Q# F: D+ U+ X7 U) l% z0 C+ q

O# a2 Y, D) |' r5 pgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion: K9 C" m( M( c3 F) j9 U1 t

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!# g  c: V2 N7 m' c1 G
