for the preliminary interview:

8 l- C6 I- m8 b+ r5 s& I% U7 r' l8 Cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,
! Q% {$ B5 M. k9 E! K( z* J; ]  m: b6 P3 e1 is impromptu talk
1 f& T  Y- c7 k  U. h+ wanother is group discusion6 K  `* R) i( Y- m) u

  r' v: ]% _( _7 x. J7 P  g7 Eall conducted in english
& a- m% F3 ^5 s$ c* N: R# K. O2 ]2 p. ]- L) O0 |4 l" r- k
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare% |7 a) E( t, V  B; ~8 r5 \

+ ~, X# q# F. x& D! y" P, ntopic like "environment, biscuit...."; Y5 n7 f$ g9 ?, I' v

0 ]9 V0 _2 v' c4 r3 V7 F( Qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion# h" v' n) a* I- s% \4 k

for final interview:( b" B& Y* c6 T' R2 H3 q

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; N- s( ^( s) i" M
