for the preliminary interview:
6 x& V& o2 q* q, r! Y+ V* n  H. p6 ^7 H. p
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......; X2 A& k' m( X% b; x

! G! u$ G  H  {5 k0 o3 pfor the extended interview:' R1 d- K! a3 f

/ F$ T1 y6 m  E. Rit's divided into 2 sections,, M- a& t# f9 m: N- R. d
1 is impromptu talk! r) ]- w  Y0 ^5 d% k3 j1 `
another is group discusion
. t9 {3 a+ \: v0 j- ~- _  ?9 A! Q/ @  k  J
all conducted in english/ r0 h2 f' Z# v( Q2 p
$ `9 K2 l+ o( Z( G9 c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& A3 D" g; n1 a$ h( W( m* |

2 s2 e- L, P5 V: S) U9 J2 ytopic like "environment, biscuit...."

- Q" g+ s0 ?1 ]+ E" bgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

" P' A( O, C/ }! I* U8 lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!) [& \9 D5 K: \; |" F
