for the preliminary interview:8 ~3 ]; I5 C1 L' G( b

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......) s" b, c# V- t$ x$ Q

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,# O6 p: ~# J3 U
1 is impromptu talk9 M) i2 F6 O, e5 Q8 p# r) G
another is group discusion
$ e8 Q* l$ a$ _. \2 H: h- y
1 Q3 K- v) f. }1 ^5 V+ ^all conducted in english
& l) w$ d. j$ R6 a9 ]8 ]% G+ l& R) \4 K% d5 o
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
/ L6 G+ M% R; H) [( \1 h' s6 ?: m  S6 |) B% U# Y- O; \
topic like "environment, biscuit...."$ @5 B: T+ P9 a( I

2 f" R. }& j* A& \group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion& q* X- y& w+ g, N  v$ O

for final interview:

) Q/ p# A) v) c8 R$ D% b7 {# r8 f4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes, q/ |2 o2 B" L

& h; c1 I# e* V! }6 Q# Ethe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
