Rookie Rankings

1. Emeka Okafor, F-C, Charlotte (No. 2)
Stats: 15.7 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 1.0 APG (27.9 PRA)
Upcoming: at Cle. (1/11), vs. Mem. (1/14), at Atl. (1/15)
Breakdown: After having his streak of 19 straight double-doubles snapped by Cleveland, Okafor has registered only one in the past three games. Came up big with 18 points and 10 rebounds in an 18-point victory over Minnesota on Jan. 5.

2. Dwight Howard, F, Orlando (No. 1)
Stats: 10.4 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 1.1 APG (21.6 PRA)
Upcoming: at Bos. (1/10), at Min. (1/12), at Det. (1/14), at Ind. (1/15)
Breakdown: With 32 NBA games under his belt, will Howard hit the proverbial rookie wall? Last year's top high school player shows no signs of slowing, averaging 9.8 points and 10.0 rebounds over his last five.

3. Luol Deng, G-F, Chicago (No. 7)
Stats: 13.4 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.4 APG (21.3 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. G.S. (1/10), vs. Phi. (1/12), vs. N.Y. (1/15)
Breakdown: Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler have received considerable attention for the turnaround of the Bulls, however the play of the team's rookies -- led by Deng -- can't be overshadowed. Deng is averaging 18.3 points, 7.7 boards and 3.7 assists over the last three -- all Chicago wins.

4. Ben Gordon, G, Chicago (No. 3)
Stats: 13.1 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1.9 APG (17.5 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. G.S. (1/10), vs. Phi. (1/12), vs. N.Y. (1/15)
Breakdown: Look for Gordon to continue racking up big numbers as the Bulls are at home for seven of the next 11 contests. During that stretch, Chicago's only game against a team currently above .500 comes at Detroit on Jan. 22.

5. Andre Iguodala, F, Philadelphia (No. 9)
Stats: 8.5 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 2.6 APG (16.7 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. Por. (1/10), at Chi. (1/12), vs. Tor. (1/14), at Det. (1/15)
Breakdown: Philly returns home after an eight-game trip out West. Iguodala averaged 8.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists as the Sixers went 5-3. Continues to hang on to a top-10 spot in steals per game (eighth, 1.69 spg).

6. Josh Smith, F, Atlanta Hawks (No. 17)
Stats: 7.6 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 1.4 APG (13.6 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. Mil. (1/11), at Bos. (1/14), vs. Cha. (1/15)
Breakdown: The Hawks are in the midst of a six-game skid, however, Smith continues to develop -- and dunk. Smith collected a season-high 16 points against Sacramento on Jan. 7, including a highlight-reel slam off an Al Harrington lob that appeared out of reach for even the inordinately-athletic 19-year-old.

7. Al Jefferson, F, Boston (No. 15)
Stats: 6.8 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 0.3 APG (11.5 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. Orl. (1/10), at Tor. (1/12), vs. Atl. (1/14)
Breakdown: Jefferson collected his first NBA double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a Jan. 5 win over Golden State. Averaging 7.8 points and 7.4 boards in 20.0 minutes of action over his last five.

8. Anderson Varejao, F, Cleveland (No. 30)
Stats: 4.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 0.3 APG (8.7 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. Cha. (1/11), at Lakers (1/13), at Uta. (1/15), at Sea. (1/16)
Breakdown: His New Year's resolution may have read something like this: Rebound! Varejao has grabbed 33 rebounds over the last three games after snagging only 43 for the entire month of December. An upcoming six-game Western Conference trip may tap in to some of that excess energy he's shown recently.

9. Chris Duhon, G, Chicago (No. 38)
Stats: 3.6 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 4.7 APG (10.4 PRA)
Upcoming: vs. G.S. (1/10), vs. Phi. (1/12), vs. N.Y. (1/15)
Breakdown: No stranger to victories -- Duke went 123-21 during his four years -- Duhon has helped fuel the recent success of the Bulls. With tough defense and excellent ball control, Duhon is showing he can run the point in the NBA.

10. J.R. Smith, F, New Orleans (No. 10)
Stats: 4.6 PPG, 1.0 RPG, 0.8 APG (6.4 PRA)
Upcoming: at N.Y. (1/11), at Det. (1/12), vs. Por. (1/14), at Tor. (1/16)
Breakdown: When your team is 2-29, sometimes you need to take matters in to your own hands. Smith put his shooting range on display in Saturday's win over the Kings -- the team's third victory -- connecting on four-of-six from behind the arc to match a career-best 23 points.

仲有Sport板飛機區 索女運動員、PE學生妹等緊你(新圖非附件~免分~)
what about Nenad Krstic of the New Jersey Nets..
u can see he is on the no.7 in the latest rookie ranking
Sebastian Telfair from Portland is also good, but he doesnt get too much playing time. From the couple minutes taht I saw him play, he doesnt have a jump shot but he is very quick and can drive to the hoop anytime he likes.
okafor is too strong,he made a lot of double double
deng有前途呀~
