The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me
" B3 F# F! [- w" p) m9 c5 g+ v# oEveryone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
0 J, P8 s2 u# I: uI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese+ ?( q, z+ s  _% M; R
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

7 W0 E/ L+ T. ^- W/ m( m% p. D: cFirst of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low3 R* r. r4 M& z- F% a
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
6 d# m3 t( A# M  q$ s) kMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
8 L. f' C5 H6 SBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable9 F- h/ I* ?+ i8 c& f) n+ ^
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living% h2 Z2 P: H* Q. X7 l) K+ f. }/ c
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel

People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.   P( V, s" c8 p
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue$ X  d1 H+ F, h; S& L
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.7 ]0 Q3 s& l0 \$ k* d) b4 P

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
