The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me
8 W& V3 I) ?. CEveryone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
1 }2 O1 C8 l) x% i% lI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
# F o, r$ c. `2 d8 m+ XSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia8 h7 {- e' E! |

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low* t4 j0 y- |9 Y- q
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
3 n3 c; I0 |5 \; d9 F u' rMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
0 E! h( r% p" A s' H* @But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable! f9 l# b5 f8 g
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living

People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. ?' [% @( m' |; Y9 u
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city: M9 G8 C ^5 x( D5 o; W
But in my ideal Hong Kong, Hong Kong must be the most population
