Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind* g1 j% H$ g, ]: h
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese9 B8 {3 z7 `5 t) J
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
4 d) I9 w& l( jHowever, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.! w- }6 J0 b* C, q! O+ I6 v
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.+ J3 p- u, J1 V& V, r5 Y5 g
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
. Y  k5 Q" W( N+ _Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living  F- l/ D! z5 T) \$ a
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel

) B5 }0 r7 k. @2 B4 o7 RPeople are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. ) e/ y9 W: |# H$ X  R% O) Z
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue
