How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
# W; b c6 I9 o( b R) @4 I) Z
6 k. y$ e& F( _0 P; p6 g1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.3 b, v+ h$ G+ o1 V+ C
: g9 P5 O- }. YWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
