How about at the hospital?

0 w0 o: N5 c6 B& H3 eI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

$ M6 v7 l, }) Y8 I# }' C, K1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.8 q5 n3 ^/ F0 a) c4 ~% r7 N

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
