How about at the hospital?, b, u% c* y1 Z Y1 W3 ~
! a" b! @% y/ j" t0 k' g! QI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.) \' i- s% u+ w9 k2 n
, L+ q- z1 F$ f u$ `0 _9 i1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

9 ^ @! G/ D% e( TWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.7 h; O- c. y( E. u0 `
/ ~7 v4 n7 g* b+ d$ t* P7 ]6 wThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
