How about at the hospital?$ A# u; k. P, u4 G* T, s: L
; w6 O/ l# N& t3 S( `I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.% V8 _* R( P6 U, f- z2 S( n
) K. ~9 Y. ]4 p0 B. f! h
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

9 k- T6 {# G/ _7 o2 FThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
