How about at the hospital?

2 ~- j6 {! ?2 x |% oI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.4 p3 b- {, V, F$ ]8 @7 X
& j* w. d% s% w8 d# x1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.( P& x, m/ k5 c/ K+ n; \: n

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.8 U+ E" ~, S9 W* @, C4 E+ _

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
