6 X1 g2 G. B% A/ j0 xI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

. d" t: G/ m& P5 K; a+ g1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.5 ^9 }& d r& ^

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.& ^0 u. H }& x0 N

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
