How about at the hospital?

( R4 W. Q. i: YI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

+ L y* _4 T. b% W5 l$ z1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.' O' D" C1 A) g# i

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.# e4 ^ r0 y/ U( ^, X8 p0 S) i

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
