I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.$ V3 G1 Q; H0 N D- u
0 a) b! N- B; A8 X. S
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

7 \, @+ s0 ]% P( x1 ?* c, }When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up. B3 A c- {) ?# J

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
