How about at the hospital?6 l% n( ~' G4 R5 @3 [& T- f
& G6 N) W0 N8 {, J8 CI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.: A8 }3 D3 D( T; M" ^
$ j1 R( v$ q$ ?5 e1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.- m( @0 G; j+ S; W7 S
0 R) M* d. Q( ]% j0 gWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
