How about at the hospital?& x* j& Y# a/ o0 J9 L3 C& H
- l2 p* l q2 R! x$ CI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.- H2 b) L* F6 @( a

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.( f S3 Z# V7 z5 r$ e4 ]9 @ u) V

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.9 \/ y8 v: U A8 D
% ^( o2 U+ O" I) \# s3 Z- SThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
