I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

7 N: E& b; R! P1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.* Z" T9 I5 K0 _' N4 P; ?! [
$ {$ H$ [" u8 s$ _; }" o8 h( U* qWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.: Q G$ `' @( w5 [) H! h; z+ T% `
! M" z: ?3 C/ g- ZThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
