How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

( u/ M* I" U, l/ @9 B1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.# y7 z5 l: v. U

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.6 d9 o0 [0 @5 D$ I% l- A( C
6 f; A' b1 A5 bThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
