How about at the hospital?

5 z1 z% P7 ~1 [- R5 [4 EI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# X1 N& b3 E4 d- B

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.2 t6 k; z8 D1 Z5 e0 m8 P# U: S) t' l
# o! P/ {0 h3 y) q5 k) Y5 dWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.; y- P4 Q. J% S! P; U. |7 s
) q( k" ?5 W* _ PThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
