Because 1080i is Interlace, it only refrash 540 line every cycle. 720p is progressive, so it refresh 720 line all at once. 1080i image will flicker in some cases, easy to see if you use projector or your screen is large.
The current highest standard is 1080p. Samsung has TV that support 1080p already. However, I can't find any signal for 1080p yet.
Anyone know where can one find 1080p signal?
