HK soccer teams cannot beat Asia-n teams too....
So this is not just body problem, that is problems in the combination of skill, attitude, strength, stamina, tactics, knowledge, experience ...
That is a problem in the whole soccer training and development system.

all the countries you have mentioned, have the culture of their own.
sport would be a profession for them. they may not have great sport shoes or coash or court or even a proper ball court, but they have determination.
they value and treasure sports with passion.

what hk kids treasure are more on great jersey, great ball shoes.. rather than fundamental skills..
that's what i think.

addition, hey, we have PS2, Xbox, TVB, KTV, Magazines, internet.. and all these. all these are comfortable way of entertainment.

hk is too comfortable for inducing fighting spirit...

如果只講足球就可能係，不過如果講整体運動就唔係大原因。
相信呢個唔係最大問題。。。香港人体質上唔會同內地選手差太遠。中國可以成為奧運獎牌大國，證明左亞洲人体質係某D運動上唔止不及，甚至有D運動上有優勢。。。。

運動勁吾勁,首先著重文化傳統,香港真係正正式式有聯賽,都吾係好多年,何況文化上真係同人地有好大差異,幾位人兄講得好啱,香港d細佬太多物慾享受嘛,踢波十個有九個半,因視為一種娛樂;巴西點解甘勁?因為巴西人大部份都視足球係一個飛黃騰達既途徑,我吾肯定甘係吾係正確觀念,但係肯定既係人地會比我地更進取更有心

Well how could you say?

in 70s and early 80s (before Wu Kwok Hung was retired)

HK was still the top 4 in filter-074(soccer)
but why nowadays, Soccer in HK... is........

我觉得50s and 60s的香港人多数系中国大陆的难民，在大陆的时候已经过着十分艰苦的生活，或没办法踢波。来到香港，生活多多少少都好一点，所以唔怕辛苦练波。当时又没甘多娱乐，练波专心好多，自然进步的快。
