ABSOLUTELY FAIR 作者: cam_kwok86 時間: 2006-6-28 04:31 AM
i say it was a total dive from the Italian player. we shouldn't have loss that way. 8 t7 q" e5 h6 @% g+ G+ U
we totally controlled the game til 93 min. wth, we should've even won it作者: yamits 時間: 2006-6-28 11:18 AM
im just an aussie with a few thoughts: - B t, D. ]: u' ~% T+ `- G* u! O - G5 r% K, R% W( T* c1. yes the penalty decision was dubious 5 e0 m. f l& n4 r' H4 f2. the materazzi red card was also dubious: yes the tackle was mistimed, but it was neither cynical, dangerous, nor was he the last defender/ |5 x' t/ f4 P; S, x
3. we had a CHANCE of winning the match, i think it is quite conceited to say we WERE GOING to win the match( Q- O6 f* A: ^7 Y$ V! P
4. there was little evidence to say that we were DOMINATING the match, maybe we dominated a little after the red card (which was dubious in the first place) ; ~" S$ B+ W: i* V. E0 I: W2 z5. we couldnt score for the whole 95 minutes; what makes our players think we were definitely superior to the italians? ) g% A9 f1 e0 ?- e8 O+ O6. again we couldnt score for the whole of regulation, now, excluding penalties (where anything could happen), what makes our players think they were going to score in extra time, and not the italians scoring instead (had the match went on without the penalty)?0 m: c( S D, u. b: z3 ^
7. it is irresponsible to say that the referee was favouring 'big teams'; consider that, in the last world cup, the italians were knocked out by the koreans, the french by the senegalese, the portugese by the americans, and that the turks made the semis(!) $ d' \9 L6 [6 b6 {% y9 R/ E f! V6 a$ K
Overall, i think the loss was harsh and we deserved to go into extra time, but there was a possiblity that we were going to lose in extra time or penalties anyway. So insulting the italians and the referee, in my humble opinion, shows utter disrespect and lack of sportsmanship.作者: Rika 時間: 2006-6-28 06:48 PM

you're so calm to see the game. that's funny coz even the world cup show presenter was upset about the penalty decision. in general, Aussie should be feeling bad coz it's a doubtful decision kicking them out. the decision is an argument. if the Italian made a nice dribble and score at the last minute, no one will complain about it. sometimes, we should understand their passion for their country.作者: artta 時間: 2006-6-28 11:28 PM
Rika, i more prefer on your opion, perheaps i should say Italy have not won the game, that match both team are quite tight even, truely saying, if that wasn't a penalty, no one will know what will happen during the extra time... * _* |% C; O( ?& R8 j( s6 c0 \8 v t9 A4 E# C0 G% f1 C
Here i am just asking for a fair game, i don't really care who can wint he game, but to be honestly fair is more important...
