Reggina Gets 15 Point Deduction

Serie A side Reggina have been handed a 15 point deduction following their role in the Italian match-fixing scandal.

Club president Pasquale Foti has also been banned for two-and-a-half years and fined £20,000, while the club must also pay a £68,000 fine.

Reggina follow Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina in being punished as a result of the scandal that has rocked Italian football.

Juventus were punished heavily and forced to start next season in Serie B.

Serie B club Arezzo must now also start this season with a nine point deduction.
