for the preliminary interview:$ c5 ]0 f7 u$ }

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......" _, d8 ~( b9 @1 A7 W' |2 k ( w* H9 }. H. D+ R/ z
for the extended interview:! y0 }8 Z6 w1 u- z. ]; e
" e% W/ r8 A8 n+ {( c
it's divided into 2 sections, & \$ e/ o$ z4 |' n2 ^6 M1 is impromptu talk 3 P8 p! z1 R6 b9 P6 p1 `another is group discusion; S4 Z) e Q% p( M: q$ h/ L3 r
8 L5 R9 q! a# }! j% ^% v' ?! c- [( D
all conducted in english : L* E0 V& s6 `6 |: W* Y, D+ T6 z7 k" D% I4 J! ?+ m
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# L! P. |) l& ^* S S

topic like "environment, biscuit...."* _& \& {* U. y n5 b1 W

K B% o4 w) z8 Hgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion5 h$ x8 r7 p: j& R9 i; c5 k

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier! & u$ o- {1 F$ g5 B; H. G( }# N* U9 p M' C! S: i
