for the preliminary interview:$ }0 [$ `* i, M4 k% ]
5 J O% B% e# m: I7 r" Hthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......" S# n3 D5 _# L* f) E7 d 1 A% q3 C6 U4 s; A V# \9 Q3 F c
for the extended interview:: @. E& {9 G4 r( A7 N8 f
) g, O" ]1 \: T7 B) n
it's divided into 2 sections,1 g; `2 r; }6 N% R- l
1 is impromptu talk . {! ?. W; z' B; kanother is group discusion 9 U( v+ w4 K6 c3 l% _; C4 v - Y5 i2 A. e0 F0 u7 tall conducted in english: O) S, \9 f# E$ K. Q4 x3 T8 f

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare" G& V1 B: x% h' ^# X6 y0 H; e* U1 }

topic like "environment, biscuit...."$ `: H& |" M7 o) N, p: y+ N

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion , m$ I1 e* I+ E" [8 T) ~! D8 n$ T5 H9 E# X3 i ) I# O1 B. ^! @! c# D
for final interview:! g8 i+ r( v: i# `5 ~

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes / f" B/ H4 B! @: G2 X9 c! O$ e6 m4 F* |. A
the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!' u- B; y; { F y# b% l* |
