奇雲基謹副手確斯表示，紐卡素可以在本季爭取前六名完成聯賽。

確斯在1980-1984年曾經執教紐卡素，而在奇雲基謹首次成為紐卡素領隊時，他則成為其副手。如今他再獲邀請成為其助手。

「我們希望紐卡素最終可以擠身前六名，並且在未來兩季可以威脅頭四名的球隊。」確斯說。(u-soccer.com)

紐記現時有27分在手, 距離佢地既目標, 第6,7位同得39分既利物浦同維拉,
足足係有12大分既距離....

難在連第8,9位都撲茅同布力般都有37分在手....

現實點講, 以紐記現時既表現同人腳, 就算下半季脫胎換骨, 要追到上面4隊波,
似乎早d訓去發夢仲實際....

等於現時第5位39分既利物浦, 如果佢定話有信心可以追到曼聯車仔阿仙奴,
大家會唔會覺得佢地有d痴線?

空頭支票討好球迷當然係好, 但定d做唔到既目標似乎相當唔make sense...
仲話要挑戰頭四, 佢地到底訓醒未?

小弟覺得, 本季最後佢地可以有第9第10已經相當不俗,
講到要挑戰頭四, 如果以現時既人腳同經營方針, 大概保守估計都要5年以上...

好心咪發埋d春夢, 實際d做番d野出黎睇下好過啦....

大家討論一下, 我本身就唔係紐記fans, 不過有時新上任, 無論如何都要有個目標, 如果目標係一定達到的, 可能冇乜鬥心再做好d.
而且升上前六都唔係無可能, 如果你話利記差紅魔15分, 少打兩場, 要追返上黎, 我覺得難過紐記要追上前六, 因為前三本身強, 失分機會少, 利記要自己羸再望前三輸, 好難, 但係4, 5, 6 球隊依家係呢d位置就係因為本身都唔穩定, 只要紐記真係可以穩定返, 都唔係絕對冇可能, 大家點睇

I think the 4th, 5th and 6th are really consistence now..
Think about it... You have Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa, Man City in there..
I don't think they will drop out for top 6th or 7th
West Ham and Portsmouth are in there too.. so I think even Newcastle could play well in 2nd half of this season, they may climb up to no.8 position in this season only

係呀, 我都係咁上下睇法,

至多可以話曼城有可能落番黎, 畢竟艾歷臣先第一年上任...

反觀布力般, 樸茅, 熱刺近呢幾年已經係456位站穩陣腳,

而最勁係愛華頓, 雖然同頭四仲有一段距離, 但佢地已經逐步逐步做緊,
紐卡素想做既, 就係挑戰頭四....

I look at league Table now...
Liverpool is in 6th position....39 points with 21 games
Newcastle is in 12th position...27 points in 23 games...
it'd be really hard to chase 12 points... (with playing 2 more games)

I am reading the table now too.
Last year, the team got 58points to be 6th position.
Now, Newcastles have 15games left, 31 points to be obtained to reach last year level. I think it is difficult, but not impossible.

簡單講,唔計頭四隊
以紐記人腳(講真紐記人腳比上不足比下有餘),
以基謹教波功力(個人覺得佢功力叫差,紐記唔知做咩痴起上來搵佢回巢,紐記球迷應很失望)
唔使護級己經偷笑,前六

講番正題...睇人腳佢地絕對唔止依家呢個成績...(不過要買番個有D質素GE中堅)
但係個排陣就好有問題(包括艾拿戴斯時期)~希望基謹可以解決呢個問題...

頭6都有D難道...唔計BIG4都重有曼城,愛華頓同西咸~
正如版友咁講頭10都重可以...頭6就難D~

newcastle shouldn't set any more target for the coming half season...
very target they set for the rest of the reason is not realistic...
i think wt they should do is find themselve a perfect and stable formation...
let the players get used to it...
make a early preparation for next season...

Agreed.  Despite Keegan's unrealistic prediction of coming Top 6 by the season end, I think he is trying to make best use of his existing players.

It's a good sign that he said he is not going to buy players just to make the 31-Jan transfer deadline, but he will first take a good look at his squad and see what they can do.

咁人地都是set 個好的目標jer, 前六可能就真是有難度,
但人當然向前望啦, 難道你想他同你地講今季護級成功咩!
我個人梗係希望紐記重上以前舒利亞係度時的紐記,
堂堂一支曾經勁旅可以比紅魔入五粒, 睇到賽果都心傷!

目標其實應該係職球員, 老細們個心入面, up出黎果d係口號, 尤如做marketing一樣...

佢地口口聲聲話要追頭六, 但截至今日佢地距離第六既維拉係足足13大分..
反而距離降班線球隊新特蘭, 只有7分距離....

現實講, 佢地落入降班漩渦既機會仲大過追上頭六.....

我覺得佢地應該教班球迷眼光遠大d, 目標應該係下兩季...
