我想問AGP槽2x,
可唔可以支援VGA 4x卡

不一定,因為2X和4X的voltage不同.如果你的主版只支援2X,4X only的video card便不能用(你就算想插也插不進去,因為2X和4X的卡孔完全不同)

可是有一種雙規的video card,可支援2X和4X,買這種就對了.

注意,有的4X only的卡有雙規卡孔,請購買時注意. 4X only的卡如果插上了2X only的主版可會著火的哦.

i sure 8x ati video card can put into 4x slot (because i m using^^)
主版可會著火 = 燒版?? OR .................兩個都燒(mboard & videocard)...

That's because 8X video cards support 8X and 4X (Dual Voltage),so you can install 8X video cards into a 4X only AGP slot.

As for the on fire part, incorrect voltage will actually burn the capacitors. If you are lucky, you will only see a couple burned capacitors. If you are not lucky enough, you will see a small flame consuming one of your capacitors

Is it all of teh 8X AGP card can be used on motherboards with 4X AGP slot?
I found that some 8X AGP cards specified that it they support 2X, 4X and 8X
