教宗若望保祿二世處於彌留。梵蒂岡教廷指，教宗過去一晚心肺功能及新陳代謝情況無改變，仍非常嚴重，偶爾失去知覺，但並非昏迷，當說話時會睜開眼，亦有參與早上的彌撒。教廷會將於香港時間凌晨12時，再簡報教宗病情。教宗已知自己不久人世。連日來已有數以萬計教徒，到聖伯多祿廣場為教宗祈禱，預計未來幾日，人數會達數以十萬計。本港天主教區亦為教宗不斷禱告，直至他離世。

well, Pope.. ... you may say.. he's really liking to Kwong Cha Man...... or Wu Kam To....

so if they have health problem....
then any sports may be stopped in China, right?!

The Italian're pure Catholic. (Traditionally, they even consider the Pope as the spiritual leader of the Italian nation as the headquarter of the Holy See's in Italy. They never consider Vatican as part of Rome; in return, they think the whole Italy as part of the Holy See. Fruthermore, traditionally, the Holy See always elect Italian as the Pope -- John Paul II's one of the exceptal cases only.) They stop all entertaining activities to respect his death!
