i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law.8 y* F6 e! A4 Z Q
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity.

Since the water on the earth will be attracted by gravitational force, it will fell on the ground.$ Y, Y8 P4 y. D" R6 p! q2 |

But in the space, no force is added on the water will u X the ball ,so the water will remain its old velocity(don't move)
