I use both...what's your definition of 好？

Are you a Windows user? Linux? What's your main reason of jumping ship? What do you normally do with your computer? What type of music do you listen (legal or 老番）?

Post more specific question next time....you asked two general questions...

I am windows XP user right now. In my office, my next department friend is using power MAC G5s. I found it that is so great. So I decide to buy imac.

For ipod. i don't have any mp3 right now. So i decide to buy one.

But i don't know the sound quantity is good or not. Please advise.

If you play a lot of computer games...forget about mac....you will get disappointed. Software selection is limited, esp. in games...

Apple is about to switch to intel chip in 2007...so you are in a transitional period....the first generation imac (from Oct last year to Mar this year) does have some design defect in the capacitors...some actually blew up after 3000 hrs of usage...but I think Apple fixed the problem now by ditching the midplane and use a new logic board......

mac doesn't crash like windows pc...of course you do pay the price....but most mac users can use their machine for a long time (3 yr min.) compare to the 1-2 yr cycyle of many windows based machine.

As for ipod....hold your $ for a couple of weeks...some announcement is supposed to surface in the next week or so (either for a new ipod phone with Motorola or just the price cut in ipod 20G color).

In terms of the sound quality of ipod...my only advice is: pay attention to the road when you listen to ipod...you don't want to get run over by a 小巴！

ipod兼容曬PC同Apple，無非就係聼歌仔~~~無話咩好5好用~~
不過音質還可以拉~~最好自己買個正D的耳機儸！原配的就真係一般儸！
電池方面表現痲痲地~~~好像新版改進左~~~
IMAC除了外形之外，功能給我感覺好像有點……如果你係Win用戶，你可能要一段時間去適應儸！
用途決定購買！！！哈哈~~~

ipod can't play movies..not just yet...

imac G5 has just updated their machine two months ago....don't expect any new machine to come out now...normally the cycle is about 6-12 months for mac.

Still waiting for the announcement for the ipod phone...it's not gonna be cheap....

like I said...if you can wait for 2 yrs...wait for the new MacIntel la! Mac is good machine...it will take Windows users 1 month to adjust...and you will never turn back (unless you are a game player).

Concluding remarks:
1) It's a good time to get imac G5 now...for apple...there is no such thing as price drop in their computers...you get the computer earlier...you got more time to enjoy it...

2) Stay put for ipod for a couple of month la....

If you want the most updated ipod and show off to your friends....wait a bit more ...but if you just want to get one and enjoy the music....you can get it anytime now.

wei...do you know anything about ipod ga? check www.appleclub.com.hk la .....

It would be an insult for ipod to have radio.....This is apple's pride! Who cares about radio when the music is so good!

There are no radio functions for ipod....podcast (a brand new thing) is a downloadable radio shows....but not real time radio.

Buddy...pls read up on your subject before asking question la....

One more thing....ipod is not a music player! ipod has address book, alarm, e-book reader, photo viewer, etc.....

mac機...你係從事 design/改相呢行先好買...因為mac機睇d圖會靚d
同埋mac機又貴....換零件又唔方便...
