I only recommend two brand, toshiba and Fujitu.
Toshiba is good and seldom hear problem reported. Good for desktop replacement. and they are a descent notebook maker instead of other brand like sony, or samsung who only focus on fansy model.
Fujisu is also good as they only make notebook in Japan makes them are reliable brand.
