Few could put a price on what ending 32 years of World Cup heartbreak would mean to Australian football on Wednesday night.

World governing body FIFA has - $8 million.

That's how much Football Federation Australia (FFA) and the Socceroos stand to collect from FIFA should they overcome a 1-0 deficit and win their way to Germany 2006 in the second leg of the World Cup qualifying play-off against Uruguay at Telstra Stadium.

The players themselves will receive 30 per cent - or $2.4 million - of that qualification bonus under the Collective Bargaining Agreement drawn up in August between the FFA and Australian Professional Footballers Association.

That equates to over $100,000 for every squad member. The rest would go to the FFA.

the Australian news didnt mention about Uruguay , thats why I posted here to gather more information about it

我覺得應該無wor...如果系既話，烏拉圭足協應該緊張過澳洲好多wor...大拿拿８００萬wor ...
澳洲呢邊好似無點題及點解會拿到呢批錢．剩系講澳洲足協同
FIFA簽了些合同．可能合同裡包括了這個．
可能FIFA悌死澳洲出吾到線，未有甘大作甘大lor.

yes, you are right . This is min. pay for the 32 team join the final. same as China , But the special team will get much more , it's for TV programme fee. You know , don't be mis-leading by someone
