                                      A Drinking Song(酒 歌)

Wine comes in at the mouth And love comes in at the eye;
酒從唇間進，愛從眼波起；

That’s all we know for truth Before we grow and die.
吾人老死前，惟知此真理。

I lift the glass to my mouth, I look at you, and I sigh.*
我舉杯就唇，我看你，我嘆息。
