How about at the hospital?
) N, u( m9 G5 ?- I5 C/ Y( x" C; L" R5 O
I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.; m4 f! _$ B/ Y0 m! s7 G5 D0 k
6 Z# t' A6 C! }, Y2 R1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.2 u$ ~) n" q% T: }+ l/ [

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
