How about at the hospital?

# a' ?' K9 d7 a8 l5 wI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

. f& c. m8 U# t/ ]$ k1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.$ I" h0 \ d+ t: T/ Q: E' A- K3 D

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
