Last 20-or-so seconds in the second half of a game. My team down by one point, and our offensive play was broken. I caught the ball near the left elbow, faked right and drove left pass my defender. Two shot blockers collapsed towards me. I got to the baseline and shot a fall-away jumper over them. It was a rainbow that caught nothing but net.7 ? T9 D0 B4 D
p: r' t, U2 U1 _- r* iWe won by one. My coach still yelled at me for taking the silly shot. (If I beat one guy and 2 guys are coming at me, there has to be an open teammate.) I was like, "man your play was broken, and i didn't know how much time was left on the clock." |
