I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.

7 `& ~* R( \) p" S5 a5 n7 Xand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.2 B* a0 ^4 B6 i% e# A
and they were dressing nicely.$ \6 U- O. c1 Z8 N6 b
Actually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.

1 C0 o! i1 `2 K2 `% b0 v% U, d& CThen I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.
9 S9 V/ X5 D8 G, y5 }I.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours) ' u8 y$ ]4 f: u
More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.9 F" y4 i) \! j! D5 ?8 s
I.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night.$ k  |- ~: O/ O+ m
