i guess it's not financial issue...it's Rafa's problem...remember exactly the same time a year ago, heaps of rumor concerned about Barry..and Juventus is going to sign Xabi for just 15m euro...no matter how important is in the team, he would be sold anyway besides a cut down price...

the xabi's transfer should had happened a year ago...it only stopped after rafa messed up Scott Carson's transfer to Villa because Barry wouldn't at below 18m~~) all thnx to rafa's 10m price tag on carson~~

佢成日嗌無錢, 輸左條氣唔順就話自己唔夠曼聯錢多, 其實有錢比佢都係亂洗一通...

好似今年, 無啦啦1800萬買一個右閘, 格連莊臣值咁多, ...

and they are always got ripped....like what you've said, Glen Johnson (this dude is way overrated!!!besides he's english)
and 20m for a player who played only just over 20 proper matches in last 3 seasons!!!! with such a high tempo environment, i dont know how Aqualiani survive in liverpool~~~i reckon he would be another Rosicky~~~working in rehab room rather than on the pitch~~~

speaking of spending the money on players rather than Johnson and Aqualiani, I think it's good for the team....
as you liverpool's scout and rafa are pretty bad in predicting player's development!!!! (no wonder liverpool cannot produce another player from youth team after Owen and Gerrard!!!)
just look at 2nd class players he signed: babel, Dossena, Lucas, Voronin...they are all a joke ~~~~
