it's a bit unfair of blaming the manager only...the players should take some blame as well~~~~
the willingness of a player to play for their country is the main problem

after playing 50+ high level matches with the club every year, they all seemed exhausted....besides physical tiredness, mental exhaustiveness is another issue....i bet all the top clubs has been given huge load pressure to them every time when they represents their countries, the situation is getting worse recently  especially FIFA cannot agree the compensation with the club if players is injured during international level competitions...

The other issue is the importance of international level competitions, it seems that World Cup is no longer the highest level of football competition in the world now....Every player aims to achieve European CL champion rather than WC, (not sure it's because of money, but it's very understandable...) WC becomes a stage for non famous players to convince big clubs to offer them lucrative contracts..

Speaking about WC next year, Argentina seems still safe for next year....as they will go against Peru in next match...and even if they only achieve 5th place, they are still way better than Central America's team....In the Euro one, seems that Germany is the one being forgotten...
They are still the leader in his group, but only leading Russia for just two pts, with Next match, German will be playing the vital game against Russia...They barely won over Russia 2:1 at home...i'm not very convinced that they will get the victory at Luzhniki Stadium easily!!~~

阿根庭同第六既烏拉圭相差一分 ( 同樣賽 16 場, Argentina 22 分, Uruguay 21 分)
最大問題係最尾一場要作客烏拉圭
睇番阿根庭作客既成績 , 作客一勝二和五 ...

agree with your analysis, but Uruguay is traveling to Eucador in next match...Eucador will confirm a place if they win over next match...i guess Uruguay will have a very hard time at Eucador on 10th Oct....Argentina is only playing Peru at home on the same match day....

here's a little stat to Uruguay on the road....1W, 3D 4L, even Peru kicked their ass as well~~~
while Eucador has 4W 3D with only 1L at home.....seems Eucador is very solid at home...

If Uruguay cant win in next match, their final match against Argentina will become totally pointless~~(assuming Peru kiss Argentina's ass in next round)

Domenich...this guy is a professional dick head ~~~how on earth he still dares to keep his head coach position until now!!!! rumour concerns French FA wanna axe him ages ago, however, they cant affford his buyout contract clause...that's why he's still leading French team!!!

but i guess FIFA will do whatever they do in the draw to separate them out...Money and commercial are the king...with C7 and Messi are on the brink of giving a miss in South Africa, Plater will do everything he can to make sure more strong teams goes into final round~~~since everyone loves watching superstars rather than underdog vs underdog ~~~
